Easy to use. Worked well
I bought this to use in 300 people hall for 2 ceiling mounted Epson projectors. The projectors were mounted about 25-30 feet high from the floor.I connected the transmitter to my Acer Swift laptop HDMI and the USB-A. The USB-A was able to provide enough power for the HDMI transmitter, so no separate power adapter was needed. It took maybe 5 seconds to startup for the laptop to recognize the transmitter. Then I started the receiver connected to the projector. The HDMI receivers came with the transmitter was already synced with the transmitter. So after maybe 20 seconds, it was connected. I did not need to do any configuration or sync between the transmitter and the included receiver. That made it easy to use and no configuration. Thus I gave Easy to use – 5 stars for the package of 1 transmitter + 1 receiver.I bought a second receivers for the second projector. The 2nd receiver was not sync with the transmitter by default. Thus I had to configure it. The setup was not difficult. There was instruction manual came with the package. The sync process involved pressing the button on both the transmitter and receiver to get them into the sync mode. It did take a few tries for me to sync. A tip is to sync the receivers first before installing the Receiver to your destination device. I bought a 3rd Receiver for a portable monitor and went through the same sync process.For the technical savvy, the device use its own WiFi to perform the transmission between the receiver and transmitter. You can connect your cell phone WiFi to the device WiFi for viewing the video, according to the menu. But I did not test it.ConsOne minor issue I found over multiple use was that if I turned on the Receiver before the Transmitter, sometimes, it would not sync. I would then turn off everything again and turn Transmitter ON first, then Receiver.I used the device for PowerPoint presentation. It played good. I used it for YouTube videos. It did good. I also played some premier League soccer videos, it was ok. This is not for gaming.

Update again:Changing from 3 stars to 1.These have been terrible for my use case. My use is, again, 3 Tvs all in the same large room (my 3 car garage). The transmitter is on a shelf to the left of the middle TV.The receiver on the TV on the far right has worked best. It never loses sync – even though it is being powered by the TV’s USB port. The one on the center TV loses its connection in about 2 hours after firing up. I put an external USB power supply on it (more than 1amp output at 5V). No difference. It generally will get its connection back after a power cycle. Since that requires me getting on a ladder – clearly not ideal.The TV on the far left is the worst (though it it closest to the transmitter and in direct line of sight). Once it loses sync, it does not recover without a re-pair. That requires 2 ladders or me quickly moving 1 ladder.I considered whether the close ones were getting overwhelmed in the near field of the transmitter, but everything worked fine for a while – about the length of the Amazon return window. They seemed to wear out with degraded performance as they are used. Very disappointing and not recommended.Update: (changing from 4 stars to 3) Now out of the return period, I am having more issues with disconnects and pairing losses. So far these have been fixable via either or both power resets or re-pairing.One, that is annoying. Two, in my application this is extremely annoying as that requires breaking out a ladder and moving it around my garage – in the case of a re-pair, moving a ladder around in a race against the receiver pairing time out. This is all time I should be spending on garage projects not twiddling with dodgy electronics.If I was still in the return window, they’d probably be going back.‐——-These worked straight out of the box. The 2 receivers came paired to the transmitter.I bought a 3rd receiver and had to pair that one. It worked on the first try.The only issue I had was after I added the 3rd receiver – either this made the transmitter draw extra current or it was just coincidence that the disconnects started happening at that time.I had the transmitter plugged into / powered by a USB port on an AV receiver. The units do not come with power supplies. Apparently the AV receiver’s USB port was just on the bleeding edge of not being able to properly power the transmitter. After digging in my junk drawer to find a 5v 1 amp USB power supply and using that, the problems went away. The receivers both seem to work okay being powered by USB ports on the respective TVs.I have these in my garage to send a single signal to 3 TVs that I use to watch gearhead shows while I work. They are all in the same open space, but not really line of slight to the transmitter.

Fantastic. Easy.
This HDMI transmitter is fantastic! It was easy to set up and works perfectly. The video and audio quality are excellent, and I love that it eliminates the need for extra cables. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable wireless solution.

never could get it to work
I tried using these on different devices and never could get it to transmit from one device to another. Very frustrating.
