Bowls are excellent value for the money
I was looking for lightweight stainless steel bowl to use for salads, chips etc. on the new porch so that when a guest reaches over for food and accidentally drops the bowl only the food will be lost! They are lightweight, so when full they would not be hard to carry and open two doors leading to porch enclosure. The bowls themselves are not uniform in weight, although this seems like it is on purpose. The larger the bowls have thicker and heavier gauge metal. the two smallest are “thinner”. The smallest is good for beating an egg and the largest would hold a defrosting 4 lb chicken or a party size fruit salad…good sizes for most purposes. As to the quality of the stainless I cannot vouch, but they are shiny and unblemished (unused as yet), I don’t expect them to stay that way forever, but then even my very good stainless steel pots develop some discoloration. They do look like it may be more like a good coating of stainless over some light metal…but good enuf for my purposes. I have china bowls for dinner parties and Rubbermade bowls for deep mixing, and mixmaster bowls came with the machine so these are perfect for quick mixing and porch and patio. One reviewer mentioned that they are too shallow, I did not think they were, although I was taken back when I saw the box and it only was about 6 inches deep. But the bowls compensate by being wide. As she suggested not great for mixing cake flour into batter. Think 3/4 bag+ of party size potato chips, salad for 6, egg salad, potato salad etc for buffets,(smaller sizes) dipping sauce and trail mix and you’ll be able to assess their usefulness. These should definitely find a place in most kitchens.. you’ll probably be reaching for them all the time, they’re a breeze to clean, but they shouldn’t be your only choice for all purposes. They nest well enuf so that they fit nicely in large kitchen drawer or on a shelf. Lids would have been nice (especially for the small ones) but mostly you would likely used smaller refrigerator dishes for storage. So if you’re thinking about the don’t hesitate! Will re-post if my impression changes.

I freaken love these
I love these! They’re inexpensive and come in handy for prepping food, marinating and are easy to clean. I love, love, love these! And you can stack up!? I mean, come on! Get you some! You deserve to save space lol. When marinating meat/chicken, I use press n seal to cover the bowl and pop back into the fridge for a few hours to do it’s job. Little tip, about a teaspoon of baking soda per 1 lb of meat/chicken, to tenderize. Works so good. Buy these!

Perfect for my use
Lightweight and easy to maneuver. I have arthritis in my hands so that’s a plus. Hold up well with use. Don’t scratch easily. Like that they are stackable.

These are vey lightweight!
They nest perfectly and have a small cabinet footprint. They are sturdy but may ding a bit. They are sturdy and dishwasher safe.

Great for salads. And everything.
When the box arrived, I almost returned it without opening it. I thought for sure the bowls are not going to be big enough. I wanted them for big salads. I finally opened the box and glad I did. They are perfect salad bowls. They are much bigger than the box leads on because they are wider than they are deep- Bigger than they seem in the box or photos- The bottom isn’t as thick and the sides but no issues with forks or shark knives- They work great for salads, mixing, batter, marinating meat, etc…- Great price and would buy again if needed

Larger than you’d think!
These are thin metal from India and will flex but so far mine have flexed back into shape with no dings or dents. I did not get the set with lids. Photos are with the packing box and also for size comparison with a large box of broth. The packing box is a mere 11.25″ x 11.5″ x 4″. I had a prior set that was heavier but when I had a hand injury I couldn’t lift the set. This set I can lift with one hand. I’m not planning heavy duty mixing with a mixing stand. I’m planning a large salad and organizing for recipes. For mixing I use a hand held silicone whisk. I’ve has stainless steel from India before and it’s pretty durable stuff!

I Wouldn’t Call These Bowls Heavy Duty
I needed a full set of mixing bowls as I have been living with one large bowl from an old set. I thought these would be a great way to rebuild the old set that I loved so much. I was surprised that these are not anywhere near as “heavy duty” as my original set. My one bowl probably weighs more than this whole set combined! I’m going to keep them, I do like the variety of sizes but I don’t expect these to last as long as the old bowl I’ve held on to for decades.

Expected more robust bowls. These bowls will deform very quickly. Bought some stainless steel in India and quality was definitely better.

Thin material, one arrived with a dent and the flat bottoms flex and pop in and out. If they were 1mm thicker they would have been a bit more sturdy and got 5 stars
