Well made and sharp
We keep a pair of scissors in our kitchen drawer to use for a variety of purposes. The pair we’d had before had never been particularly good, and after a few years’ use the bolt that connected the two blades came undone. I knew I didn’t want to just pick up any cheap scissors I could find, since I’d never been happy with how the old pair worked.I’m a crafter so I have a few scissors that are dedicated to specific purposes. Among them is a pair of Westcott scissors I use for cutting heavier papers. I’d been impressed with their effectiveness so I decided to buy this two-pack for household use; they look different from my dedicated paper scissors so I won’t mix them up, and I was confident they would work well.We’ve had them for a while now and it’s working out great. They make it easy to break down cardboard boxes for recycling (and to open packages when they arrive): they’re nice and sharp, so I don’t have to apply a lot of pressure to cut through the shipping tape.The handles are comfortable to hold. The inside orange parts are rubbery for a good grip (there’s also a rubbery bit on the side for the index finger to get a good grip if you need it), and the outside gray parts are a harder textured plastic. The join between the blades says it is adjustable, though I haven’t had a reason to try to adjust it so far.I love that they can be used in either the right or the left hand because I’m left-handed while my husband is right-handed, so we don’t have to worry about keeping different kinds of scissors around.The texture on the blades is unusual for me, since normally they’re just smooth and shiny. I assume this is to give it the promised nonstick feature. It’s never been a big pain point for me to have things get stuck to the scissors, though I suppose occasionally it is annoying when tape from a package gets stuck to the blades. I haven’t had issues with that while using these scissors so at this point the nonstick claims hold true for me.Really happy with these so far and I’m sure I’ll look to Westcott for future needs.

Fantastic – get them when the price is lower
Wescott makes the best line of scissors IMHO. I own many of their various scissor types. These utility scissors in bulk are fantastic. I use them as kitchen scissors to cut everything from chicken and beef to vegies. I also use them for crafts and general scissory stuff. I even use them in the garden. They stay nice and sharp. Just watch the pricing. When they are at about $25 bucks, that is a deal, but I have seen the price jump above $50 which is just unreasonable.

Great sissors for cutting materials with some adhesive properties
I really needed a pair of scissors that could cut material with some adhesive property without getting hopelessly stuck or otherwise compromised after a few snips. So far, these scissors are working great!

EXCELLENT QUALITY, SUPERB VALUE
This is an unsolicited, uncompensated review for Westcott Non-Stick Scissors, Set of 3. My wife and I often use package sealing tape. It had become difficult to get a clean cut of the tape due to the tape’s adhesive gumming up the blades. Tried cleaning the blades using acetone and emery boards, but this was ineffective. I found a pair of scissors in the garage with serrated edges which cut the tape clean. However, they were only a 4-inch blade length. Went to amazon to find serrated scissors, but came across this set which featured “Titanium Non-Stick” operation. Decided to order them and try them out. They cut the packaging tape clean with no drag. And what a bargain! Three sets for under 13 dollars. Highly recommend this product for their quality and value.

These are the best scissors I’ve ever had. I was looking for nonstick because of cutting adhesive tapes, I have replaced the scissors in my house with these- even the garage. I am a sewer, and would even use these on my fabric- they’re that good. I have by given two sets as gifts for family members. Best price is here! Staples sells the same for $26 a 2 pack 😳

Read for honest review
These scissors are high quality with sharp blades for cutting thicker items. They are comfortable to use. Their grip area isn’t hard plastic, so if you need to use these constantly throughout the day, you will not get redness or blistering in your thumb webbing. These are NOT friskers and I do not recommend using them on clothing or anything thicker than 12 pieces of printer paper together if you need a straight cut.

Excellent in every way
The scissor itself is top of the line. But what I wanted to point out was how excellent the customer service was in dealing with my situation. One of my scissor broke apart when it accidentally got knocked off the table. It was practically brand new. I was devastated, it was my favorite scissor. I reached out to the customer service that was listed on Amazon (it was the wrong one by the way), Amazon linked me to Wescott photographic instead of Wescott office supply. Thank goodness Andrea from Wescott Photographic referred me to the appropriate department (Acme United Corporation). I was asking them if they could send me a replacement part, so I could fix my scissor. What Zack did was beyond my expectation. He sent me a brand new scissor to replace my broken one. He said their scissor has a lifetime warranty, which was so unheard of. Thank you so much for taking good care of your customer. Thank you Andrea for referring me to the appropriate department, and thank you Zack for helping me with my problem. This is really beyond me. Everybody that I had contact with was very courteous and helpful. Every company should follow your footsteps. I send a lot of packages and need to cut lots of packing tape and these are a real time saver! I spent so much time cleaning tape residue off my scissors/buying new ones. These fix that problem and are super sharp to boot!
