Great for light skin too
I kept passing on this product since it was made with black individuals in mind. I’m white and wasn’t sure how it would do. I finally bought it on Prime day figuring what the heck, I’m curious enough to try it. I. Love. It. I’m a big fan of Vaseline and this product will now be a summer staple for me. The color of the product in the bottle made me wonder if it was going to look odd on my light skin, but the product blended in well and doesn’t leave me looking discolored. There’s actually no detectable coloring from the product at all. It leaves a nice shimmer which I love. I don’t feel like Edward Cullen in the sun. My skin is hydrated and soft and it doesn’t leave a sticky or gross feeling on my skin. It smells like the Vaseline Radiance line, so if you like those products you’ll like this! It isn’t a strong smell at all.

Smells good, lightweight
This oil smells good and is very lightweight so its perfect for the summer. I did expect more shimmer/glow from the oil. It does give a very subtle shimmer, I will layer this with other products for the full glow look I am looking for. I have sensitive skin and this did not irritate me which was a huge plus as it’s hard to find a product that has a good scent but doesn’t cause a reaction. Overall for $8 and the size I probably wouldn’t purchase again.

The Vaseline shimmering oil is like a little bottle of magic. Seriously, it smells soo divine you’ll be tempted to take a bite ( but please don’t!).I kid you not, I spent a good part of the day sniffing and admiring my arm fat. Yep, you heard that right this shimmering oil will make you glow like a disco ball at studio 54, and the scent? Oh, baby, its like a warm hug of brown sugar and vanilla – absolutely yummy. I mixed this shimmering wonder with my body lotion. Just a pump for both legs and a pump for both arms and voila! The result? A lovely glow with a low sheen,- perfect for those of us that want to shine without blinding everyone in the room. My skin looked amazing!But here’s the kicker-the scent doesn’t stick around for as long as I’d like. Just when you get use to smelling like a snack, it fades away 😢. So, if you’re planning to impress someone with your delicious aroma, you might need to reapply.

I was looking for a body oil/shimmer for vacation and honestly this one did not disappoint. I’m quite pale and I realize that this is for more pigmented skin but even on super pale skin, it gives a nice glow, a healthy looking glow to the skin with subtle, but very pretty sparkle. I wore it every night for dinner, and got compliments on it from my friends and from other people. However, I will warn if you do have very pale skin, even though it’s not an oil for tanning, it will still burn in the places you put it. It also smells absolutely fantastic like a coconut tropical dream and it doesn’t break you out!! Which were two HUGE factors.
