WORKS WELL, a little goofy putting batteries in
Good working size and easy to hold. Black makes it hard to see (for me) at night, so I have orange tape for faster recognition. The yellow lines show the contact for the negative positive terminals, the battery receptacle could be more solid with a redesign, the tension spring is weak, and batteries kept falling out during placement. UV light is bright and effectively pics up anything that reflects.

Battery life was super short. May have been whim. Worked for identifying spots on floors and rugs you may not know where or if your pet had any accidents. Also worked for showing me my bathroom walls and where I missed washing them down for example.

Just don’t shine it where you’re not sure you want to, lol.
I bought this flashlight because my pepper plants developed a hornworm problem and I was told that UV light reveals them very well at night. As it turns out — it’s true! This worked wonderfully for that! Good light with a decent size beam and seems to have a fair amount of power to it, (fluorescing) things lit up brightly and clearly.It also lights up a wide variety of stains you can’t necessarily see under normal conditions… yikes. The good news is though, that shining the light and not seeing any unexpected glowing after cleaning is just as satisfying as seeing the unexpected glowing beforehand is horrifying. You have been warned!

Does not work on dog pee!!!
My dog peed on my rug when I was leaving for work (I watched her do it with my own eyes ). I didnât have time to clean it up so when I got home I used my uv flashlight to find out where she had peed exactly and nothing showed up except for lint and little things. Did not illuminate the pee whatsoever! It was the whole reason I bought the thing. Very disappointed!

Let me tell you, I have never ever been able to see the amount of jump on my floor clearer until we purchased this! Everything is so visible now!We use it daily especially since we have puppyâs who have accidents and without this light we wouldnât be able to see their accidents.For the price I would highly recommend! Works Very Well
I could smell my cat had peed somewhere, but wasn’t sure exactly where. So i bought this light as well as a bottle of cat pee neutralizer, so I could find the problem and properly treat it. It worked like a charm; found the problem(s), got them taken care of no problem.. . . Then I made the mistake of shining the light elsewhere. Here’s what I wish I’d known beforehand:First of all, realize that you may get false positives. For example, apparently turmeric powder lights up under a black light, as do little threads of my carpet fibers, for some reason. I’m sure there are other things that will light up as well, and those may not be what you’re looking for.Secondly, know that if you have blue-blocking lenses (like I do), it can change the appearance of how the light reacts with what you’re shining it on. I’d recommend taking the glasses off when you go looking for messes.Thirdly . . . don’t shine it on something unless you REALLY, REALLY want to know! You can’t unring that bell, if you know what I mean! Let’s just say, I will never be able look at what I sincerely thought was my relatively clean bathroom the same way ever again.

We used this light with the water pigment dye to find a water leak. The light is very bright and certainly makes items glow that react to UV! The flashlight is lightweight and lasts a long time on the batteries. Also a great add-on to this years Halloween setup 🙂 Very happy with our purchase!
