If you have kids that move around a lot like mine this is a quick and easy way to read their temperature. It has been super accurate for us and is great as hygiene is not an issue. It is also at a great price compared to the temporal thermometers available in stores.

The ease of use for this thermometer is outstanding with kids. Iâm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because I find variance in temperature when using it. If I do it from the recommended distance, and then do it again I notice that the numbers donât always match. There variance is slight, but leaves some room for error. I do like that if the thermometer detects a fever it does light up on a different color.

It really works well!
I was concerned it was too cheap (inexpensive) to work well. Nope… It works really well, is quick to read, and matches the temperature as my older ‘touch the forehead and rub across to the other side’ one that I have checked at the doctor’s office. I’m happy and did not spend a lot.
