Great TV and Value
After reading reviews on this TCL TV decided to give it a try. Could not be happier with what I have purchased..Picture quality is top notch with bright vibrant colors. When watching a 4k video it is very very realistic. I am also very impressed by the sound produced by this TV. I can watch and listen without the use of my hearing aids. Sound is very clear and rich in tone. At this time am not planning on adding a sound bar.If you are looking for a quality TV at a very reasonable price this model TCL in any size would be a great choice

Amazing picture quality
I have an older 55″ TCL Roku TV which is almost six years old and is just ok, but not great. Bought this 65″ one to replace as I place that in another room. My expectations were only fair for this, but it was very inexpensive and I figured it would be very similar. Boy was I wrong. The image quality on this TV is amazing. The colors are vibrant and bright and it can be viewed very well from extreme angles. If you look at the picture I included I was able to see the texture in the material of a baseball game I was watching yesterday from an antenna. Truly amazed at the detail. Oh I wanted to add that the sound quality is amazing too. I have a sound bar that I was going to use, but the quality and wattage of the internal speakers make that not needed.I did have some trouble setting it up initially as it was telling me that certain apps were not useable in my geographic area even though they should be as I am in the United States. I called TCL and they were very helpful. They took time to trouble shoot with me and we determined it likely was not the TV but something with my Gmail account. I used a different Gmail account and then everything was fine. The thing that shocked me was today, 24 hours later, I got a phone call from TCL. It was the same person I had spoken with yesterday who wanted to make sure my issues were corrected and wanted to know if I had any other questions. That was an example of truly great customer service as well. It is very nice to know that if you do have a problem with the TV that they will treat you as a valued customer and give that sort of support. Truly above and beyond.

Great Picture
I wanted experience the TV for a couple weeks before writing this. I think it’s important to know what this TV is being compared to. I was replacing a five-year-old 50″ Sceptre 4K UHD non-smart TV with a Roku adapter, YouTube TV and a few streaming services. I always thought the Sceptre had a really nice picture, and I still do, as it was just moved into the bedroom. The set up for this TV was very easy, especially if you have a Google account. I just scanned the QR code that came on the screen and it had me download the Google Home app. After that, the app did all the work and I was set to go. My initial impression was that the picture was nice. Probably a little better than what I had previously. This was while I was tuned into CNN. I played with the adjustments and got the picture to where it I liked it. Then I saw the different picture options like Sports, Movie, Smart HDR and Low Power. The default setting is Low Power which works well for typical everyday viewing. Where I was blown away was when I watched some of the streaming shows and sports. When you apply the Smart HDR to a streaming show and the Sports mode to a football game, Wow!! It’s far and above what I was experiencing when I thought I had a really nice picture with my old set.I was lucky to unknowingly get this on sale for $320. during I guess a Labor Day sale. Believe me, it’s worth much more than that. I did some research before purchasing it and came across two very good reviews for it on tech websites and I couldn’t agree more.If I have one criticism it’s that the Google TV lags somewhat, especially when you first turn on the TV. You hit the button and sometimes it lags for a second or two before moving. Again, I’ve been used to a Roku adapter that was always very quick and responsive.Overall, this has been a great purchase. Thanks to TCL for putting out a product at this level for this cost.

Great TV for the price!
So far so good! The TV has an amazing picture quality. And the sound with a surroundsound system is truly spectacular. However, when you turn the TV on, it takes about one minute bouncing back-and-forth between the digital receiver and the sound bar system. Itâs really kind of a pain in the butt. But other than that, itâs an amazing TV and well worth the money!
