Held up to the elements all summer!
This has lasted a full Ohio summer- extreme heat, lots of rain, crazy wind…and it is in perfect condition still! Gorgeous picture- no problem watching it outdoors at all! It is super heavy- it comes in a heavy metal frame, so have some muscle to move this thing around and at least 2 people to install it on the wall. I took away one star because it is almost impossible to hook anything else up to it. But if that isn’t an issue for you, then its a well made outdoor TV!

Great TV and customer service
Best choice for an outdoor tv and very easy to set up. It has amazing picture quality and sound. I had a small problem with the TV but customer service was very helpful and quick in resolving the issue. Would highly recommend this brand to anyone.

Update – Poor customer experience on damaged product
7/31/24 update – Sylvox reached out to me and arranged for a new TV. TV arrived in working condition. They were initially slow to respond, but once they engaged everything went smoothly. Leah and Ian were helpful.Purchased directly from Sylvox and received relatively quickly. Box and packaging was very nice, however when I turned the TV on, the screen appears to have been damaged in transit. Emails to Sylvox have been unanswered and you always have to leave a message when you call. A ticket number was eventually created for me, but no email confirmation that they are working on a replacement. I am at the point where I am not sure if they will send me a new unit just because there is no communication from them and getting in touch with them is very difficult.

Good Outdoor Construction
TV comes well packaged and it has some weight to it since itâs enclosed in a waterproof box. The metal case has a grey hammer finish. The seams are sealed to keep water out. Even the remote is built for the outdoors with the battery door having a rubber gasket to seal compartment. There are a few requirements regarding placement. You cannot mount this inside a wall or an area with no ventilation. This is made to be wall mounted and for the metal case to dissipate the heat.There are two elements to this review which is the TV and Google TV. The TV has a colorful and bright image out of the box. Display will definitely need to tweak settings according to your visual appeal. Speakers are better than LED TVs but are not like a sound bar. All the ports are easily accessible and labeled. In order to access all these ports you have to remove the rear cover by unscrewing several thumbscrews.I am an Apple user and first time user of Google TV. In order to use this TV you will need to download the Google TV APP. The setup was straight forward and not difficult. I was having issues typing in names. For some reason I was not getting a keyboard. After some PD I decided to restart the TV. After the restart it started working. I am now able to type in words using my phone as a remote. Everything worked fine after that. If you donât want to use your phone you can always connect a keyboard/mouse combo instead.I like this outdoors TV since I can leave this out without the fear of it getting damaged due to humidity or bugs. Only con is price. It is more expensive than a standard TV. I am not going to deduct any stars since you are paying for its water resistance construction and the quality is there.Thank you for taking the time to read my review and photos of this product. Nice TV, Difficult to remove waterproof panel
I wish I loved this TV more. It has gorgeous picture, it’s easy to set up with Google TV, and the wireless signal comes through well. It has two flaws I hate.First, to install the proper wall mount hardware on the back, I had to use extenders and longer screws to push the hardware away from the back of the TV. I prefer to put the hardware against the TV for strength.Second, it’s extremely difficult to get the waterproof panel off because the mounting hardware covers it. In order to remove the panel, I have to remove each screw (instead of merely loosening it). That makes it even more difficult to reattach the waterproof panel.If you never have to take the panel off, then it’s fine. However, if you want to use the USB port or add and HDMI cable, it becomes a laborious task.But for the design flaw of the panel, this would have gotten five stars.
