Great new TV for my Master Bedroom
First the unexpected – I ordered a “recertified QN90A” from the Amazon warehouse and 1/2 the screen did not work. So, I returned it to Amazon and ordered a brand new QN90A through Amazon fulfilled by Beach Camera. To my surprise the new TV arrived and was a QN90B. I asked Beach Camera about this and they sent me the invoice showing Amazon had them send me a QN90B. From what I had read on the internet the QN90A has the better picture but what the heck I would at least setup and test this version.BTW the reason I wanted this specific TV brand/model is for the TV center stand since it would sit in a bay window area perfectly. Thus, having feet at the end of the TV like all models seem to have these days was not an option for me.Now to the TV:The picture is absolutely beautiful but not quite as good as an OLD TV (which costs quite a bit more) so that is okay by me and far better quality than any other TV in my house. It did take me a bit of time to dial in the picture to my liking but now it is pretty much perfect. The TV is extremely fast to turn on and the SMART aspect has worked flawlessly for Amazon Prime, YouTube, etc… applications.Remote control is simple and I really like as I pretty much hate remotes with so many buttons you have to look at the remote to find the correct buttons. With this remote I can easily operate it by feel alone in the dark which is nice. I also discovered the buttons can have multiple abilities (ie the volume button when pressed will mute and the channel button when pressed will bring up the channel guide). Basically just a smart use to keep things clean and simple for operation and layout. The stand is probably as heavy as the TV and works great to know the TV will not fall over – nice quality.Physical setup was a breeze and took maybe 15mins and the OTA channel scan worked as expected. What I did not expect was the Samsung free channels (there must be 100) – I may just turn them off as I can’t stand commercials so i rarely watch broadcast TV.Thus far I have zero complaints, it was a really good deal, works for my needs, and I would recommend this TV

An awesome TV! Love it!
First, I have to admit I did something really dumb… I actually ordered two of these by mistake! BUT… it worked out great. I was replacing an old set in a bedroom that had suddenly developed some strange, multi-colored vertical lines on the screen that came and went at will. I had a 40 inch set in my family room that was still working, but it couldn’t do 4K. The new sets, far and away, blow away the picture quality on the other two sets, both of which are also Samsung. I might add the set that went bad was already 10 years old.Set-up of the new sets was pretty straightforward. I had no problem connecting the HDMI cables, as one reviewer had. I connected an Xfinity X1 cable box, along with a Sony UBV-700 Blu-ray player, to the family room set, Everything worked flawlessly, right from the get-go. The remote control for the TV took a bit of getting used to, but after playing with it a bit, I got the hang of it. The picture, although very good at first, got better and better, the more I used the sets. Colors are bright and natural. Thanks to local dimming, the blacks are truly black, and there’s absolutely none of the blooming others have reported. There are features on this set I probably won’t use, but knowing they’re there, should I change my mind, as reassuring. My only complaint, and it’s minor at this point, is that the set doesn’t support NextGen TV without adding an external tuner. When stations become active in my area, I will be pursuing it. But the bottom line is that I’m very happy with my choice of this TV. That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it!One last thing… this TV is NextGen TV equipped. The ATSC 3.0 tuner, for this new OTA standard, is included. This makes this TV futureproof!

Probably the best non-OLED tv you can buy right now.
I’d been looking to upgrade my tv to a bigger (75in) and better one. After doing some reading, I narrowed my choices down to this newer Samsung Q90A and the LG OLED C1, and then decided I’d stick with the non-OLED tech to get the higher brightness, and of course the somewhat lower price. (I’ve read that OLEDs aren’t made as bright because of burn-in concerns.)So far I’m very pleased with my choice. The picture is wonderful: my usual test is a 4K nature documentary, and I think Blue Planet 2 looks just amazingly good, although I’ve seen it before on a slightly older 4K Samsung tv. The brightness is great, which I needed for an open living room with big windows.I like to turn off the Samsung “smart hub” thing, which I find intrusive and annoying, so I can’t review any of that for those who are interested. Amazon, Disney+, and Netflix streaming content looks great (through a Fire TV cube), so I’m perfectly happy. As for other features, the 4 HDMI inputs is nice, and just adequate for my current needs. I do think these bigger tvs should come with something like 6 or 8 (why not?) HDMI input ports so that you can have multiple players and game consoles hooked up without having to get a separate switch. The sound from the multiple speakers is very good, probably as good as you can get from a modern tv. I’m considering getting a decent (but not overly expensive) soundbar to try, see if it makes the sound noticeably better.

Huge TV!
TV is spectacular! I was a little surprised by the weight. Its about 136lbs withOUT the stand. It feels like 175lbs. Picture quality is unbelievably superb! Very vivid and crystal clear. Menu is very straight forward and easy to use. Very happy with my purchase.
