Wow!!!
I am a retired dog trainer who, for decades, has been heavily involved in pet rescue. I thought I’d seen it all, but I have never seen a product that works so well and so quickly to remove tartar!. I wish I had taken a before picture. . The above picture was taken one week after I began adding this product to my yorkie’s food. Everywhere you see white at the gum line now was covered in thick tarter. I bought the small bottle because I have been duped by hype before, but I am re-ordering the large size and will start adding it to my bigger dogs as well. It’s not cheap, but it’s a lot less expensive than a dental cleaning!

I was skeptical but…
Honestly, I was very skeptical that the claims made for this product would work, but I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. I have 3 small dogs and taking them to get their teeth cleaned sends me into shock when I get the bill.I took a photo of their teeth before so I could see if there was really a difference. All 3 of my dogs showed a small difference after a month. Since they all eat out of the same bowl, I decided to double the amount and mix it up well (I feed them 3 cups a day). I wanted to make sure they all got some of the powder. It WORKED! The tartar and plaque started to really disappear and their teeth were white! The very back teeth need some work, but I’m super impressed that after 2 months it’s a drastic difference. The bad breath is gone and their teeth look great.I’m excited to see what will happen to those very back teeth as time goes on.

To my surprise, it’s really working.
I have two dogs, a 2 yr. old Havenesse who doesn’t like it. But my 9 year old mixed dogshound who had bad teeth when we adopted him 4 years ago. I just don’t trust using anesthesia to clean dogs teeth. So i kept thinking there must be something that would at least help. I got this on Sept. 1, 2024. Today I checked his teeth and they are about as clean as the puppies’. And his breath is quite good now.

Seems to really work
I put a scoop in the food I mix for each of my two dogs twice a day. Their teeth are whiter and cleaner. So much so a vet looked at my 6 y/o 65 pound hound dog’s teeth and asked what I did to keep his teeth clean. Both dog’s have better breath. I wish I found this year’s ago, but after using consistently for months I have no plans to stop. They don’t notice it in their food. Healthy teeth saves us from so many issues. This is worth every penny.

My dogs were previously on VOHC verified dental chews, so they didn’t have much going on for plaque build up. However my six year old has lost any stank to her breath and their teeth are whiter so I’m no longer sweating them having gotten bored of the chews.My cats however range from 5 years to 13 years old, and all had varying degrees of plaque and tartar build up. My brachycephalic cat needed a dental and had horrific breath, and while I was saving up for the dental work for the three of them I tried a tub of this. Vet confirmed that none of them require a dental anymore, and two only have very minor build up on their rear most molar (that all have flakes of it missing where it comes away with chews), while gums are super healthy. My 13 year old who is comfortable with me brushing and also likes to chew has immaculate teeth.Notes from having worked years in pet stores and getting feedback:It doesn’t work for every pet. Don’t know why. Maybe something about genetic saliva acidity, who knows, but for some pets it just appears to do nothing. It takes time for it to have an effect, so be patient, but don’t count on it to be a miracle cure for evey pet.It is a very innocuous amount and it’s very rare for pets to have a reaction, but for historically sensitive pets it is not a bad idea to ease your way into the full dose to avoid upset.It doesn’t matter if you sprinkle it on top or mix it into something to get your pet to eat it, this product works through absorption into the bloodstream not by contact with the teeth.The scoop inside is exceptionally tiny, maybe a 16th of a gram. I am using 7 full scoops a day for 5 pets and the medium (180gram) container lasts me 6 months.This often weakens the bond of tartar to the teeth, but you’ll need the mechanical action of brushing or chewing to scrape much of it away.The VOHC label this product bears means that it has been independently tested and proven to be effective and safe. If your dental products do not have this label, then their claims are merely that.

This product arrived Monday. It is now Saturday. Photo 1 is from Monday, photo 2 is from today. I was able to pop that giant tartar deposit off with my fingernail and basically zero pressure. I’m so relieved to find something that works so effectively. Hopefully I won’t have to look forward to giant dental bills in the future. Highly recommend…. Buying the health food version for significantly less. This is just a specific type of kelp. And if you do a little bit of research you can find 100% pure organic versions of the same product made for humans for like $8.
