Light and compact
I havenât used it yet. But judging by the video it seems to be effective. Itâs compact and light and very easily accessible. I hope I never need to use it, but itâs hanging and ready to go.

Nice to have to be safe; well made, nice feel
Have seen the many reviews about fiberglass shards and poorly made. So I took all of mine our of the bag to test how easy to get out of the bag and see the quality. All are well made, have a nice feel, no fiberglass shards or issues. It’s a nice side blanket and has two pull tabs as advertised and is very easy to pull out. I have no complaints and bout one for my son and daughter to have at their homes.

Great Safety Item
First off, I hope to never add to this review how they work, I don’t ever want to have to use it! However, I think it’s a great addition to the safety items. I keep one in my kitchen and one in the basement. Also gave one as a gift for my parents’ camper. Fire extinguishers are great, but need maintenance. These blankets do not. They won’t expire, aren’t inhibited by hot or cold temperatures for storage, and don’t need to be recharged. Sure, you’re limited to a small fire for them to be effective, but hopefully in any case you catch a fire when it’s still small. It’s slim design makes it easy to store, and you can hang it from a hook on the wall. I think it’s smart to have in any kitchen, camper/RV, or even in a car.

Blanket did not hold up arfter washing.
We had to use the blanket after a grill fire. The blanket did its job to suppress the fire until it could be extinguished completely. However, manufacturer says it can be wiped clean and be reused. Not the case. Mine was too dirty to wipe clean, so I put it in the clothes washer and the sewn edged disintegrated. I contacted the company, but they decided it did not need to be replaced. I would have thought it would have help up better in case it was ever needed again.

What a great fire protection for my children in their kitchens.
The weight is not too heavy. The blankets can be reused and cleaned easily. They are durable, have some cotton content. They are a great price to have for a very long time.

I canât say if it works or not as I really donât want to have a fire. From all the ads I have watched it is a good security measure. I have an old fire extinguisher but didnât want to have to rely on it if I needed it.It seems to be a remarkable product. For the price it is a good security blanket and anyone can use it.
