Great fountain.
I got this for my cats in June 2022 and it has made a big difference for them. They were not getting enough water because they didnât like the water bowls. But with this they drank much better. It is almost completely silent and the stainless steel is a plus. My son cleans it every month and replaces the filters. The motor seems to be giving out now though because I have to unplug and replug it multiple times a day. But it has been a wonderful thing for my cats.

Best fountain yet for many reasons.
First of all, my cat gets better water than I do. Not only does this fountain have a filter just like your Keurig machine, but the water coming into my condo is filtered the moment it’s inside my unit via RO. The filters say they last two weeks and you are supplied with four filters, however considering the amount of filtering going on here, I think this will last me 4 months. But make sure that if you buy it, just like with the Keurig machine, you buy extra filters. They are merely charcoal filters but designed to fit between the pump and dispenser.Sound: it claims 35 decibels I think? I don’t know what planet they are on but it is zero decibels. I couldn’t even tell if it was working originally when I plugged it in due to the complete lack of sound until the water came out through the pump. There is no splashing, no splashing sounds, just smooth water and clean water all the time. Incredibly easy is not a way to describe it. Simply easy is a better way. In terms of keep it simple stupid, this one is the one. I only stick with stainless steel because I know of many animals that have developed problems from infected ceramic and plastic bowls or basically a general avoidance of chin acne in cats.

Love this BUT….
I love this fountain! The only problem I have is that I was unable to find detailed & proper cleaning instructions until I read reviews. When you buy replacement filters, they don’t come with instructions. The unit itself did not come with proper cleaning instructions. Basically, my issue was with replacing the filter. Which side goes up? Common sense is what I ended up using.The unit is very quiet! I love that my dog is getting water that has been filtered and all of the nasty stuff that can be removed is removed. I didn’t know if he would drink out of it because it’s not a “bowl” of water. However, he went straight for it!!!I changed the 2 filters the other day & cleaned the unit. The weird thing is that when I went to put more water in, the water that was already in the unit was cloudy and had a very light brown tint to it????? I immediately got rid of that water and replaced it with new water. I use the filtered water from my fridge. The next day, I checked the water. The water is fine. Now, you’re probably saying that it got dirty because my dog was dirty when he drank it but he wasn’t. I’m going to definitely keep my eye on this. I’ll post a follow up if Amazon reviews will let me.Other than the water color thing, this watering fountain is great!!! If it wasn’t so quiet, my dog wouldn’t go near it. Therefore, this fountain is the only fountain for him!Buy it! It’s worth it! You’ll see. ð

Neat fountain
For those who have a picky pet, and like the sound of running water, ( one of my cats) this is a nice fountain. It’s sturdy, they can’t knock this one over. It stainless steel so good for cleanliness. The flow is decent, it’s about 2 inches high. But you need to clean it frequently or it gets clogged and the water stops flowing. That is why I gave 4 stars. It may be because of my dogs hair, who sheds a lot. But it is a good fountain.

Holds so much water!!
Cats love it!! One of them loves water and the other doesnât drink enough. They both use it happily and are content. Iâm thrilled with how it stays clean. Stainless steel is a good choice. I canât hear it over my ac/fan. When the fan is off I can barely hear it at all/only sometimes. I only have to refill it 2x a week for my 2 cats.

Motor stopped working after 5 weeks
This was functional and I liked the idea of filtered water for my pets. The top lid was really hard to take off so I ended up pouring water through the narrow opening. It wasn’t ideal but so it goes when you buy cheap stuff. Out of the blue, the motor just tapped out tonight. So, I spent extra money for extra filters and extra sponges to be prepared and now I’ve got a useless piece of scrap metal I can’t return since the 4 week window just passed. Pass this one and keep looking.

I don’t know why this item is not returnable. I don’t see on the product page where it says that. Expensive to purchase and then Amazon decides to not accept a return on it. Why? My advice – Unless you know specifically that it is returnable don’t assume Amazon will accept it. They won’t. Super disappointed. The filters do not fit the water fountain. Overly expensive.
