I recently bought the (Pack of 2) Replacement Remotes, and they work perfectly with my devices! Syncing them was a breeze, and both remotes responded immediately. well-made, works great, zero setup
Took the remote out of the package, pointed it at my Roku TV and it worked instantly.In hand, it feels solid and well-made. The buttons are a nice, rubberized matte plastic, less “clicky” than the TCL remote, and all four shortcut buttons are for streaming services I actually use.Unlike another reviewer, the remote I “paired” does not seem to work to control another TV, so there might be limited re-usability between current and future sets with each one. But it’s a two pack, for under $10, so it’s really a no-brainer for me.

Good, low cost backup/replacement, with one small caveat
Controllers work fine for the TV we bought them for (TCL brand). Nearly docked a point because they unfortunately also turn on a second TV (Vizio) that is in the same room every time we adjust the volume on the TCL, but that would be a unfair. Overall, happy with the purchase.

Quick and easy
My original remote died. These arrived within hours, and the set up was easy and seamless: just add batteries and voila! They worked. No pairing, no issues with my other TCL TV.

Between the two remotes we made it almost a year.
These were a near perfect replacement for my TCL remote. We used one for a long time but the right arrow quit working. Weâve been using the other, and combined, we made it almost a year. Itâs September 2024 and they were purchased in October 2023. The second quit working altogether. So, compared to a name brand TCL replacement this is probably the better option, but could be better obviously.I may buy again or try a different brandâ¦?

Better than its predecessors
This is my 4th TCL Roku remote since purchasing the set from Amazon in 2020. The other 3 have become dysfunctional (one, non-function), despite new batteries. This one looks slightly different from predecessors, which have a rounded top compared to the squarish one of the newest version.It functions perfectly out of the box. No fuss with on/off control or channel and app selections. Even the side volume and mute controls work instantaneously. For the first time, I have as much confidence in this control as the Roku voice remote I use for my large-screen. Just remember the key differences: this small-screen Roku remote arranges the 4 app selections in a single column; the big-screen remote arranges them in 2 rows.I’m hoping the new one can handle a fall from the bed. If not, all the more reason to purchase a 2-pack.

Great price and works out of the box, but no YouTube TV
I searched Amazon for a Roku/TCL remote with a YouTube TV button, and this one came up at a great price, so I bought it. The remote worked out of the box after installing a couple AAA batteries. I was however disappointed to find out that the YouTube button launches YouTube and not YouTube TV. Other than that, it works great. They should clearly say this in the description somewhere.
