    Very realistic play food
    Excellent quality set that is very realistic. The milk and orange juice containers are just slightly smaller than an actual quarter of milk. I like that these are a good size and not tiny depictions of food products. Good quality construction that will hold up to play. Nutrition information is listed on each product: “Calories from fun – unlimited” and the ingredients for the orange juice include oranges and sunshine. Really fun to have in our little one’s kitchen.

    So cute!
    These items were perfect to add to our lil grocery store section for our grands. I did not realize that the lil deli items are in a reusable package and are made out of a hardwood board. Grands love making sandwiches with them.

    Cute play food!
    I got this set for my toddler to add to his kitchen toy! While these are super cute and fun, they aren’t made very well. Basically just card board, so my son can easily rip off pieces. We had to throw away the “cream cheese” because of this.

    M&D are the best
    Long wear and great quality. Still have M&D products from 20 years ago. This set with the paper products won’t last as long as their wooden stuff, but will do what we wanted from them

    I truly enjoy the craftsmanship and joy Melissa & Doug products bring to our family! I highly recommend this set for an older age group ..5 even 6 and up … the set is AMAZING but only flaws are this set is mainly cardboard, the deli meats and cheese packaging is high quality but the tab you pull to open it can easily rip and damage within the first time of opening if your not careful! Even for an adult it’s difficult! I suggest taping it to secure and give a better grip! As well as the juice and milk box the tabs to open and close eventually will wear out! I’ll be sure to update in a few months! The realism and size are just perfect for fridge stuffers and very real to what we use today! Love the set and really enjoy the neat details in this product! Would definitely buy again if needed or as a gift

    Most of the items are made of paper (orange carton, milk carton, cheese, butter, backing of the deli meats) and will not withstand the slightest abuse from a toddler. Not worth the price – you are better off recycling existing foodstuff you have.
