Customers like the wireless audio adapter for its ease of setup and Bluetooth compatibility. They mention it works well, is easy to pair with two Bluetooth headphones, and is great for sharing Bluetooth audio from one phone to two headphones. However, some customers differ on sound quality, audio latency, build quality, value for money, and connection quality.

MEE Audio Matrix Cinema BT Wireless Headphones
I purchased these (here on Amazon) so I could listen to my TV late at night when others in the house are sleeping. It was critical for me to have the audio in sync with the video. The Aptx LL (low latency) codec is a MUST if you want to achieve this.Other wireless headphones that say they have Aptx or Aptx HD – but don’t have Aptx LL – will have a noticeable delay. If you are just listening to music without video – you don’t need Aptx LL – but if you are watching video and care about the sound matching the video – Aptx LL is the answer.Of course buying Aptx LL headphones like these without having a Bluetooth enabled device transmitting with Aptx LL – won’t let you achieve this. Luckily I have a Sony Bravia 4K OLED TV (2019 model) and it worked perfect with the MEE Audio Matrix Cinema headphones on the first try after pairing. As an experiment – I tried pairing them with my Xfinity 4K X1 unit – the result was a noticeable delay – which tells me that the Xfinity 4K X1 unit is not transmitting with Aptx LL. I switched back to using them with my Sony Bravia 4K OLED TV with no delay. If you don’t have a transmitting device that has Aptx LL – MEE sells one that connects to your receiver or older TV’s audio out.I also purchased Trond TD BH01 and Sennhieser HD 350BT Aptx LL headphones to see which ones actually sounded the best to me. I liked the MEE Matrix Cinema headphones the best. Good punchy bass (without being over powering) and clear mids and highs. It has four different sound enhancement profiles (accessible via a push button switch) – but I thought that the Clear Voice Plus profile sounded the best and am only using that. It worked best for music, movies, and dialog. I was impressed that the headphones stayed on that selected profile even after I turned the headphones off and then turned them back on later. It has volume controls on the headphones – but once it was paired with my TV – the TV remote volume controlled them – so I don’t have to keep messing with any headphone buttons.I’m an audiophile and a musician, so all the things I mentioned above are very important to me – especially when I’m watching concert videos – I need to hear a drum or cymbal when the drummer hits it, or see a guitar strum when the guitarist strums one, or see a singer’s mouth match up with the lyrics when he/she sings them (not a second later). I love my V-Moda M-100 wired headphones for listening to music on my Onkyo DAC – but V-Moda doesn’t make wireless headphones with Aptx LL yet (they just have Aptx HD). These MEE Matrix Cinema BT Aptx LL headphones work and sound great for me.

    Works with AirPods!!
I bought this in 2016, to use with my TV. I wanted to be able to use headphones with the TV via BT, so I wouldn’t disturb anyone else. Nothing too fancy about that trick, and it worked fine using the optical output from my TV as the input to the transmitter.I am writing this review 3 years later in 2019 because now I am impressed. The transmitter has been sitting in my drawer for a few years because I no longer needed it for what I bought it for. But I am getting ready to take flight and I wanted to see if I could use it to let my wife and I watch a movie on the iPad, with both of us using wireless headphones. I decided to experiment and see if I could make it work OK.I just got the 2nd generation Apple AirPods and I wanted to see if they would work with this transmitter. They do!! Not only do they work, but I experienced no latency, at all, with the AirPods connected as the “A” device, and a pair of cheap ($30) BT headphones as the “B” device. I got no latency at all when watching a Netflix movie on a 2017 iPad. When I listened with an AirPod in one ear, and one of the headphone ear units on the other ear, the sound was delivered to both devices at the same time, and in sync with the image on the screen. Very impressive!!! I was about to buy a newer BT 5.0 based transmitter, but that little test showed me that I didn’t have to.My configuration was as follows:1). 2017 iPad Pro via headphones cable to this BT transmitter2). AirPods connected via BT as the “A” device on the transmitter3). $30 BT headphones connected via BT as the “B” device on the transmitter4). Netflix movie playing the movie on the iPadBoth the AirPods and the headphones connected to the transmitter easily and painlessly, in a very straight forward fashion.I can’t comment on the battery life of the transmitter, since I have not used it that way yet.I also don’t think the transmitter has any kind of noise cancellation feature, so I’m not sure why that is even a ratable item for this review, but I gave it max stars since everything else works great. This device costs more than cheaper ones out there – and maybe they are just as good I really don’t know. But I already had the money spent on this one, and despite a newer BT standard being available, and despite newer low-latency technology being available, this 3 year old device works like a charm. I am very impressed. Someone knew what they were doing when they designed this thing.

Nice product with good compatibility options
This works wonderful, it’s really high quality and durable. Does its job really well.Would recommend buying: If you want to connect 2 headphones, or you are using optical or RCA cable.Would NOT recommend buying: If you are only using this for 1 pair of headphones and connecting through an aux cable. Not because it’s bad, but because you can find cheaper alternatives for an only aux to bluetooth option. But if you have the money, or really don’t care. This is a good product. Would buy again.

Not for streaming to hearing aids with TV speaker also on
First off, this product worked very well with Kirkland hearing aids. Set up was effortless (Optical out from TV) and the audio was good. A bit tinny but good. If you are alone and mute the TV speaker they will do what they are supposed to.The problem came when one person is listing to the TV (or other bluetooth speaker) and the other through hearing aids. There is a sound delay (echo) that rapidly becomes annoying. I tried hard to adjust to it but in the end had to send it back.Again, a good product. If you were to use a headset that blocked out the TV speaker or muted the TV speaker they would work fine.

Watch John Wick at full volume without waking the baby!
I bought this so I can enjoy my bluray player while my family sleeps. Very, very easy to get set up and paired with the headphones. The hardest part was figuring out my TV settings to get the audio to come through, but the YouTube videos they have for setup were very helpful in this regard. I gave 4 stars for sound quality because it does this weird thing where when dialogue/sound is at a very low level, the audio seems to turn off in a random ear momentarily when sound starts back up. This may be a limitation of the actual Bluetooth low-latency technology and not this product, but it was noticeable and took some getting used to. Highly recommend, otherwise!

Very Nice and ultimate product with various sound variation options in built. Very comfortable for me at least, since I wear glasses, do not compress your temple and create pressure. Not meant for travelling like plane.

the only reason I rate it 3 /5 is a noise in the left ear when I move my head

It works very well as a TV audio transmitter to a pair (2) of Bluetooth headphones with separate volume adjustment for each. There is no audio lag, pairing and reconnecting takes only a few seconds, there are no any sound quality issues. I fully recommend this product for this purpose.Update after 3 months: it still works flawlessly.

Delusione.
