Very sturdy
If you’re not used to pointing together this style furniture I wouldn’t recommend this. The instructions are only so so. Not extremely bad but they could be better. If you’re a champ at putting together furniture this is a great option. The finished product is attractive and sturdy. The only real problem I had is mine came with a broken door but their customer service was quick to provide me with a replacement. I gave them a 5 star because the finished product is exactly what I wanted and when I had a problem customer service was excellent.

Looks like the online photo and fairly easy to assemble
Needed a TV stand for my new 55 in Smart TV that looked good, was reasonably priced and included doors to provide “hidden” storage. This product fit the bill. It also got fairly good reviews. I paid specially attention to the “ease of assembly” comments made by others. The instructions say it takes two people to assemble this TV stand. I’m 5’3″, 115 lbs, and had no issues putting this together by myself. The only time a second person might have been useful, is when I put the top (the heaviest single piece) on the bottom section. As someone who has been putting stuff together solo for years, one learns a few tricks–like inserting a temporary support between the far end of the bottom section and the top section, while one adjusts/guides the bolts/etc. into place at the other end. The instructions were illustrations, which were not 100% clear. A bit of verbiage, such as “ensure the slots line up towards the back of the unit in the side pieces, etc.”, would have helped, because the illustrations were NOT clear about that. Luckily, it was something I could easily fix in about five minutes, and I realized my error before I had reached a point of no return. (And yes, I did read through the instructions from beginning to end before starting, but there are many steps and many parts before one gets to the point where one would realize the end pieces needed to be switched so the back pieces will slide in and fit properly. I also found putting the wood dowels into the top of the bottom section worked better when I put the top section on. (Glue is not used on the dowels…thank goodness, or I would have had trouble fixing my earlier error with the sides.) The dowels kept falling out of their places on the top part (gravity will win every time) while I was putting it on the bottom section. So, I moved the dowels to their spots on the bottom section, then put the top on. Problem solved. I’m still moving in and haven’t found a permanent location for this stand yet, but I have no doubt it will more than meet my needs and look good too.

I want to like this but…
This was pretty simple to put together with the instructions but set aside 3-4 hrs to put it together. Everything was going smooth until I put the lid on. It was missing the drill holes for one side. I said screw it. I’ll drill them in myself. I didn’t realize the predrilled screws were off center so my holes didn’t even work and I didn’t use them. I worked on this for over 4 hours then just put the lid on and finished. It’s sitting in the predrilled screws and this thing is completely off centered. See pictures. Customer service offered me a $20 refund. That’s it! There is no way to ship this back. It’s already fully assembled. The other option is to send me a new one. That means I have to put another one together?! Poor customer service for their defective item! This thing is not easy to lift by myself. I really didn’t want to deal with this all over again. They just don’t want to give me a refund. The color is also darker than the picture. This is more of a dark gray.

The gray is actually darker than pictured. I was going to return it, but I changed my mind and I put it together in about an hour and 45 minutes by myself. Instructions are easy to follow and the piece is very nice. I would definitely recommend this product.
