Cheaper but the same as name brand
These crackers are crispy, flaky, salty and taste fresh and are exactly the same as the name brand varieties only much cheaper. I order them on Amazon because they donât arrive broken or crushed but I still can get them straight to my door and save some money. As far as plain salted crackers go they are great in soup, with some oysters or crumbled and put in meatloaf which are my main uses for them. They get stale if you donât seal up an opened leave in a baggies or container but so do the other brands. For a dollar and some change you get a huge box and I think itâs totally worth the money. Just a generic cracker but get a better bang for your buck.

Less expensive but equally as tasty
I hate grocery shopping. Loathe it in fact. Anything I can order and have delivered, is an item Iâll try. Saltine crackers may seem like an odd thing to try, but Iâve been pleasantly surprised by the quality of Amazon brands foods. These crackers did not disappoint. Crispy and salty like a cracker should be.

A classic saltine…
Very good! Fresh, best by date is almost 8 months away, toasty and crisp. A classic cracker that needs no topping! I am impressed. As good as brand names…

Very Nice, HOWEVERâ¦
Great crispy crackers, which is more remarkable as itâs rainy season in subtropics. The box itself felt , as most everything does this time of year, somewhat dampish. Weather, nothing to do for that.Light, flaky, nice salty as name implies, my favorite texture for saltines, however, very pale and not done cooking. For all the great texture, because they were underdone, a bit floury tasting. My first box, so if thatâs a regular thing Iâll bake them a bit before I eat them.Probably THE cracker to chose for cooking things like that popular crack candy, melting cheese onto them or anything thatâll finish cooking⦠if this slightly underdone is the way they come always.Still, we ate the whole sleeve with cheese and stuff.

Wow! Way better than Zesta!
I’ve purchased Zesta crackers for twenty years and the quality has varied, especially these past eight years. I decided to give these Amazon crackers a shot because the price is right.I am blown away! These crackers are crisp, light, and airy. The salt grains are large and plentiful. The flavor is surprisingly similar to the soft pretzels I make annually. Each package in the box has been fresh and delicious.I’m never going back to Zesta. This is my new brand. Thank you, Amazon!

Great bargain
I love saltines. Plain, in soup or as an ingredient in meatloaf and çasseroles, they’re flexible, simple, and tasty. Amazon’s brand is very good. They’re sturdy enough to handle a heavy topping and light enough to crumble over a casserole. I like to snack on them too when I just can’t figure out if I’m hungry enough to cook, lol. I just saw a doc on how saltines are made. What I learned is that buying them is a lot easier than making them, lol. There’s a lot of work involved and machines do it best.

You Get What You Pay For.
I’ve been researching different “Generic/Off Brand” saltines and with my latest purchase of Amazon Saltines I can hear my grandmother’s words in my head “You Get What You Pay For”. These saltines crumble very easily and they can’t have any kind of topper put on them because you’ll just have a crumbled mess. Also, you absolutely must-eat these saltines ‘over a plate’ because they begin crumbling with the very first nibble. Jewel or Walmart’s off brand saltines are hold up way better.

Affordable Crackers That Taste Amazing After a Quick Bake!
I got these crackers with the ‘buy 4 items, get 15% off’ promotion, so the price was very reasonable. Straight out of the package, the taste wasn’t what I expected. However, after baking them in the oven for just a couple of minutes, they became deliciously crunchy and flavorful. A simple and satisfying snack!
