Sorry I don’t know how to edit videos yet so I can’t show you what I will be talking about yet. I recently bought the hero 12 kinda by accident. I wanted to buy one but I didn’t want to spend the money though. I had put a camera and a sd card in my cart and forgot about it, well I needed some vacuum bag rolls to freeze something, anyway I bought the go pro with that, oops.I have purchased a few other cameras to mount to my motorcycle, needless to say I was buying the cheapest I could that seemed to be ok. Well they weren’t. When I mounted them to my bike the image quality was just terrible. I ride a Harley and I don’t know if it was vibrations from that, or the stabilization wasn’t up to snuff. I figured because I had the go pro in hand I would at least try it and if it didn’t do what I wanted I could send it back.Well it works great. That is all I have to say about it. I haven’t even gone into the more advanced set up features; and, I made my first video this morning and I was shocked at how smooth the video capture was. The colors were normal, I mean it looked like it did when I saw it with my own eyes, so I’m good with that. The purpose of the camera is to document if anything happens while I’m riding and it does that very well. I really didn’t want to spend that much, but I will be keeping the Hero 12 Black and I am looking forward to learning how to use it better. The 25% off makes it a little easier to swallow buying one. I’ve looked at them for awhile and the price is reasonable in the end. I have a 256GB micro sd for now but it will take up to a terabyte if I want to spend the money, for long rides.End of the story is basically, I love this camera after one use and look forward to using it more. If I can’t get the wife to come with me, I can make her watch the videos of the trip at least. Great camera so far, I’m curious to see how it handles a rain storm but I say buy it! I can’t wait to figure out how to bluetooth it to the mic on my helmet for voice commands and to see if I will be able to narrate that way while I am riding. It has so many features that it will take me awhile to learn all of them and get the camera set up to do everything I want, or it is at least capable of. Not unhappy I bought it, still kinda expensive, but with these kinds of things you truly get what you pay for.

I was Surprised!
I stepped up from an earlier model and cannot be more pleased with the Quality of imagery and ease of operation and editing of the Hero 12 Black. The battery life for how I use it (paired with remote) is amazing. Friends were a bit skeptical when I started with it but now really enjoy and anticipate the videos of the rides we do. Itâs so compact and lightweight I hardly ever think about it when Iâm wearing it or riding with it. Just a Great Tool.

Piece of junk! Doesn’t work! Rip off! Don’t buy it! No readable instructions!
I graduated first in my medical school class so I’m an intelligent person. This go pro has very difficult controls. Mine had no readable instructions; only microscopic print that I could not read. Then they insist that you install an app on your cell phone (probably so they can track you). The reason I bought the thing was because I didn’t have a phone! Why buy this thing if you have a phone? Then they say go to their website, but the website download doesn’t work for my computer. Then the camera doesn’t work. I just wasted a lot of money on this piece of junk. I will never buy anything from this company again.

I love the Go Pro 13 , but i find the software for editing not much good. I had to download another program to edit. The picture quality is great. I had to order two batteries they last about 1.5 hours each.

Iâm a GoPro user as well as I own a few DJI products and was on the fence between this and the action five and zero regrets.My only beef with GoPro is why change the batteries?? You had the same batteries for so long now why change now??Love some of the newer functions coming from a 10/11 user⦠I guess Iâm buying some more batteries lol⦠But I will be a GoPro user for life

When I entered the media card that was brand new and and tested in another camera it keep giving a media error.Got onto gopro direct and they expected me to be a computer expert and asked me to update, reformat and change all this stuff on the camera. This was a brand new camera and was a dud and the entire exercise was extremely stressful. But the worst part was when the guys I was chatting with just up and ended the chat before any thing was ratified. Extremely poor service from them and an expensive camera that was crap. I was that frustrated with them and the camera I collected all the accessoriesand the camera and threw it all in a junk draw and have not looked at it since. Thinking I purchased a good camera I threw all the packaging away so I don’t have it to send the junk back.
