The paper is the sketch book material, shes able to do pencil crayon and marker on it. It opens vertically so it makes drawing way easier than if opening side to side. She goes through alot of these types of things but i think these ones may be the ones i continue to buy. Cheap for the amount and quality i am looking for. The size is bigger than normal paper also.

I love this sketchbook because of these 2 features, firstly the front and back cover are strong sturdy board, so sketching on my lap is wonderful! I also love the perforated tear off feature, I now have a fine edge, vs a spiral tare off. Would recommend

The price is great. It’s a sturdy sketchpad with a nice heavyweight paper. However, it was shipped in only a thin clear plastic wrapping and this needs to be improved… During the course of travel the corners ripped out becoming dirty, blackened, and damaged. One whole side of the plastic was ripped back and left the paper edges exposed and dirty. It’s not worth returning, but I’m a little sad that this is the condition of my son’s sketchpad for his art class.

I have used this sketchbook for my architecture classes and its been great. no worries of tares or folds, the paper is strong and heavy so it stays in place but also I’ve used it for water color and its great! and great design so you can do horizontal and vertical sketches easily.
