Love it!
This book is amazing! I don’t know if I’ll do them in order, but if this doesn’t spark creativity, nothing will. The tasks are varied, fun, and great for beginners.

Good, varied prompts
This is a great little book for people with a creative block. It calls for using various mediums, the topics are quite varied, and the difficulty levels offer a good variety too. You can spend as much or little time on each page as you want, and it’s good for getting you out of your comfort zone.My biggest pet peeve is that the pages are thin. Yes, that keeps it more affordable, but that also means that ink, markers, and other wet mediums can leak through onto the next page. It’s not the worst thing in the world, but it is annoying to have an otherwise good doodle marred by what you did on the previous page.I would still recommend this. I don’t plan on making a masterpiece so it’s not a huge deal for me, just a minor annoyance. But it’s worth keeping in mind if you’re picky about that sort of thing.

so much inspiration
I’m not using the book itself to do any of the art prompts. I have another mixed media sketchbook that I’m going to use. The book for me is reference only. The paper is on the thin side, and I’m not sure it would hold up to the sort of media I want to use (primarily watercolors, watercolor pencils, markers, colored pencils, acrylic paints). I just get in a rut – I know I want to do some art, but I get locked up – artist’s block. This is a fantastically inspirational book, so I know I can pick it up and still work on something art related. Very happy.

Great book!
This is a Fun book to have! Itâs perfect for the days that you want to be creative but donât want to have to put too much thought into what you are creating since the book basically tells you what to do. Itâs kind of a mix of a doodle/color book with some prompts that require a bit more thought. 🙂

I was planning on gifting this to a friend, but Iâll be keeping it for myself and ordering several more to give as gifts.I LOVE this book!

Iâm not the best at drawing, but I still like to do it. This book is great because I can practice and not have to come up with an idea/concept all by myself. I try not to worry too much about messing up or things not looking so great, because Iâm learning. It has a lot of variety and different skills to practice, with some repetition. I havenât been using it everyday or going in order, but I enjoy it!Overall, itâs great for casual drawing/colouring and familiarizing yourself with art. I think it could still be good for those who are already good at drawing, but I canât say for sure since I am not.

Whenever I find myself in a creative rut, I turn to this book, and within moments, I am back in the zone, immersed in the joy of artistic expression. The only downside to this fantastic book is that once you’ve completed all the exercises, there isn’t a second edition to look forward to.
