What exactly are you looking for in a review about a garlic press? It works. Itâs not junk.According to the ideas Iâm being given while forced to write this review instead of simply leaving a star rating, Iâm supposed to mention something about the crunch of the garlic. No, the garlic doesnât come out crunchy. Itâs a press, the garlic squeezes out.It is, in fact, quite sturdy and has a nice heft to it.Ease of cleaning: meh. Itâs fine. It shouldnât be surprising that when you force food through a bunch of tiny holes that itâs going to take a slight bit of effort to clean those holes.Ease of peeling: Now here is the real star of the show and more proof Iâm easily amused. The garlic peeler is wonderful and works amazingly well. I never knew such a thing existed and feel like Iâve been missing out on this superlative piece of kitchen equipment.

Very very solid
This is a very solid garlic press that performs well and delivers great results. I particularly appreciate the silicone peeler, which makes peeling garlic cloves very easy.The included cleaning brush is also a nice touch, simplifying the cleaning process. The garlic press itself is efficient and easy to use. I like the handle, it has a comfortable grip, making it easy to squeeze. I also like that it’s easy to clean, no hassle there.However, I didn’t give it 5 stars because I think the build quality could be improved. Since I’ve been using it regularly since February of this year, I’ve noticed that the handle on the peeler has started to wiggle a bit.I’m still happy I bought this peeler. The whole package is very complete and has great value.

Matte black is so chic
I needed a Garlic press and had an old pampered chef one for year. It started to chip and I didnât think that was good for food prep so had to throw it out. I purchased this one because of the reviews and the matte black color. It is so pretty and looks so sleek in the kitchen. It gets me excited to press garlic! I havenât used the other tools yet but the peeler seems like a pain to clean out so I just smash it with a knife. The press works wonderfully. Definitely go for the larger size because itâs not that big. The small one could probably only do two cloves at a time. The larger does up to 5 depending on size for me.

I love this garlic press! Add the garlic cloves as you break off from the pod. The press is easy to use and the dried skins from garlic is in the bowl ready to discard. The metal is beautiful, sturdy and easy to clean. The grip is good, add a few cloves to make press easier.

Works but not dishwasher safe
Update – Contacted the seller and they made things right. ——————————–This works for mincing the garlic and isnât too difficult to clean. I donât really use the roller. One reason I bought this is because the description says dishwasher safe, but nothing on the actual packaging says it is. I tried and it came out okay with 1 exception – there are black inserts in the handle and they both came out in the dishwasher (so if you do this check your filter area). They are plastic and on the inside of the handle so it can be used without them but it shows the manufacturing holes. I don’t know if I can glue the plastic to metal but will try putting them back on. This is my reason for the 3 stars.

Iâve used a few different types and brands over the years and this one is so good. I was worried that it would be hard to clean because of the small size, but I find that because it gets all the garlic âjuiceâ out, whatâs left just lifts right out. The prongs (is that what one would call them?) are so easy to clean too, it just peels right off. A great purchase!
