So far it has worked well as a quick solution. Setup is very easy, no need to install any apps or use Bluetooth. The image quality is comparable to using a cable. I’ll save you the extra pictures since people have already posted. Listen! this thing is amazing!Here’s what I like:- Setup, so easy and simple. It’s truly plug and play. Plugged the tx to my laptop and rx to my monitor and connected the power for both and baam!!! turned on and connected. I didn’t have to press anything. It was literally a 5 second connection process. Just FYI, when you connect to the laptop portion to your laptop, it turns on a blue light even if you have not plugged in the power cable. It won’t work without the power cable, so connect it please- The contents that come with the box! literally saved me. My monitor used a mini hdmi so I got discouraged, looked in the box and oh wow, they thought about it. There is was, a full hdmi to mini hdmi dongle! I was so happy- Speed: There was literally no lag(I’m using a macbook pro by the way). Connection was seamless, it connected simply and everything worked so great! No lag, literally no lag. It was surprising considering it’s wireless and it’s a display projection.Overall great product. it’s going in my tech bag permanently. I’ll be using it for projection when I visit somewhere. Hotels, airbnbs, I’m happy with it truly and I 100% recommend it! Technology has come so far…yeesh!!

Cut the cord
I wasn’t sure exactly what I was getting when I purchased this. However, after reading up on it a little more and then finally employing with my MacBook Pro computer and LG television, I was very pleasantly surprised and pleased with something I never knew existed before. I know about Wifi and Bluetooth, but I had never heard of an HDMI Transmitter/Receiver. After having used it, I know I don’t have to bring a bulky HDMI cable with me on trips. The product came in a well designed packing box with more items than I expected or knew I would need. I wasn’t aware that after connecting the transmitter to my laptop and the receiver to my TV, that it would require additional power. Luckily, the instructions explained it in clear and concise fashion, and the two enclosed USB 2 to USB C cables connected power to each of the units. I plugged in the Receiver first as the directions indicated and added the power cable. Because the Receiver is a little wider than a typical HDMI cable plug, it comes with a little extension that you can use if it is too wide to fit with other cables or plugins on the TV. (Very handy.) There were two other small HDMI adapters, but I’m not sure what they would plug into. Then I went to the TV settings and chose the HDMI port that it was plugged into. Then onto the laptop to plug in the Transmitter. and power cable. The blue light on the Transmitter began to flash and when it stopped, all of sudden I saw my desktop screen on the TV screen. It was perfectly clear, and there didn’t appear to be an lag evident from my laptop to the TV when moving the cursor. I then began to play a movie, and it was clear, sharp and exact. However, I had no sound on the TV screen. I could get the sound on the laptop, but not the TV. However, after playing with the laptop settings, I was finally able to get the soundt to the TV, and it was perfectly clear, with no lag at all.So to summarize, this little device allows you to connect a laptop with a TV without a cable and just the Receiver and Transmitter. Pretty cool trick. A little pricey compared to the cost of an HDMI cable, but very convenient. Overall, I was very pleased with this product, and I would highly recommend it.

I was thinking how to hide the HDMI cable connected to the projector. And my friend told me to try this. It works very well and I’m surprised how convenient it is. I should’ve bought it earlier if I knew such product exist o.O

It is easy to install, just plug and play. Now I can connect computer to TV wirelessly. The display is very clear and the connection is fast. The only negtive part your equipment must have a HDMI out port, otherwise you need usb to HDMI adapter. Anyway it is making my life easier.

I use this HDMI Tx/Rx to transfer audio/video from my laptop to my home entertainment system. This is done to test how home recordings sound on a very familiar system.It worked well right out of the box, note that it takes a second or 2 to sync up.Tip: First turn on Tx (my laptop) and then go to the Rx (tv/HDMI channel), this works best.This Tx/Rx work as I expected.
