This one seems to be a keeper
So I have used a ton of these “instant” fixes for puffy eyes. I think this one wins so far. The difference? The other ones work great and instantly. Problem: You put makeup on over it and the effect goes away. This one is tinted so you can put it on over makeup. That seems to solve the problem!

Works but one thing
I was skeptical but this product does what it says! BUT I think the manufacturer should invest in a way to see if they can make this in a clear gel or light cream. For anyone with a fair complexion, the tint of this cream is too dark and you can see it on the face. For myself it wasnât that bad but I put some on my mom who is very fair and you could see it after it dried. It looked like when you wear foundation too dark for your skin and you see that line around your face. But hers was just under her eyes lol. I didnât apply a lot so that was not the problem. It really should be a clear color so no residue is seen. Also because of the tint, even if it isnât noticeable after the application, it will be visible by the end of the day. Iâd literally invest in this company if they found a way to make it without the tint!Another thing for the ladies asking about wearing it with makeup. I put moisturizer on my face prior to makeup normally, I did the same but avoided under the eyes. I then put my foundation on, dabbed it in areas and blended with a brush. I blended it very lightly under my eyes. Once dried, I then added this eye cream. I wasnât sure if it would work but it certainly did. As I said I didnât have much issue with the color of the cream until days end when you could see the color and separation. Anyone who is fair skinned may want to invest in a slightly darker foundation to avoid this.

Left in the pouring rain
I wasnât able to actually use this item as it was left in between my main door and screen door which didnât latch due to the wind and rain. It arrived early in the morning and by the time I left for work later in the afternoon, the bag was soaked. The rain had made the box soft and mushy and it broke down the box.Being that it was an eye product, I was afraid it might have gotten contaminated out in the elements by laying at this side of the door in gravel and mud. It was not the deliverers fault as they placed it where it would have been secure. However due to the weather it fell out of the door and onto the ground exposed to high winds and pouring rain for hours.I will say this, for $40 the bottle looked extremely tiny so unless this product does absolute wonders and not much is needed, I doubt that I will re purchase. There are many other similar items out on the market that will temporarily tighten skin under the eyes for a cheaper price and a bigger amount.Most women who care about under eye bags wear makeup and most make up has some kind of oil in it. This product states that it cannot be used with make up containing any oil so why would a woman interested in hiding bags not wear makeup? That is the whole purpose of concealing them to wear out in public. This has never made any sense to me when the producers of these products make them! Make a product that hides dark circles and eye bags that is 100% compatible to use WITH MAKEUP! Otherwise itâs a complete waste for the majority of women.

Finicky but miraculous
This stuff WORKS. However, it needs to be prepared and applied correctly or itâs useless. You HAVE to start with a completely clean, untouched base (if I use any kind of eye cream or moisturizer underneath it, it doesnât do a darn thing.) But they do warn you about that in the instructions so itâs to be expected. I cleanse, then use a gentle toner (it MUST be oil-free) under the eyes and let it dry completely before applying.You then have to apply JUST the right amount (trial and error, but Iâve found that about a pea size dot is enough for both eyes), and start by gently swiping on the area and THEN patting. When I start out by just patting, it doesnât work as well. And do NOT get it right underneath the eyes.. it will be crepe-city. This is designed to reduce bags, not fine lines. When I get it too close under my eyes where I have lines I’m horrified. It also definitely feels weird and tight but thatâs to be expected.After applying, Iâve found that putting ANY kind of liquid/cream product on top of it (concealer, foundation, moisturizer) completely negates its effects. They say in the instructions that any kind of oil breaks down the tightening qualities and itâs true. So if you want to put makeup on top, itâs best to use some sort of lightweight powder. It does have a tint to it so I havenât found the need for concealer when Iâm wearing it.It definitely is fussy and finicky BUT it works so well I donât mind. If you read the instructions they are very straightforward about how particular you have to be to get good results, so itâs not like theyâre trying to trick you. Now that Iâve practiced with it a bunch, Iâll never be without it. I wonât use it every day because I do like to put eye cream on in the morning and canât do that with this, so I save it for special occasions or extra-puffy days. Itâs expensive but worth it for those days.

It works for me!
This product works really well for me! I’m 64 and have very noticeable dark circles and bags under my eyes. This cream makes them disappear and helps me look less tired and drawn. It’s tinted so works as a concealer as well. You just have to play around a little at first to figure out how much to use and how to apply it. I have found a little goes a long way. I’m happy with the results and hope that Westmore continues making this product!

Wonderful Product
I really love the 60 Second Eye Effect. I have fair skin and the tint is perfect for me. It completely removes my deep blue undereye circles. I usually use Peter Thomas Roth Instant FirmX under my eyes and it works well but itâs not tinted and itâs a bit harder to get on right. But Iâm in Canada and this Westmore Beauty product cost me $74.07 for the 10 ml tube. So when I win the lottery, Iâm going to stock up big time.
