Comfortable & Functional
These Walker Razor Slim Earmuffs are a pretty good product. They are comfortable, and work as designed. Voices come through well, and loud noises like gunshots are properly muffled. They arenât as comfortable with glasses as I would have hoped, but thatâs usually the trade off when wearing a properly fitted earmuff. They are compact and light weight which makes it a lot easier for packing with your stuff. The folding design is really nice. They also have an audio input jack which is a nice option for adding an external audio source for communications or music if desired.I paid just over $40 for these, which I would say is a good price for the quality. Iâm not sure I would pay the MSRP of $80, but Iâd definitely recommend them on a good sale.The volume switch works well to dial in the level you need, but I generally found myself keeping it either up all the way, or off.The slim design is a huge factor in getting a proper cheek weld. Many other earmuffs I have used are just too bulky and donât allow for proper form when shooting rifles.Battery life seems to be good too. Even after multiple long days of use I didnât have to replace them.

Excellent noise reduction and fit
Pros: Great fit around head and ears. Cushioned across top of head for comfort. Ear muffs cover the whole ear to create a good seal for noise reduction. Damn near silent when placed on. Electronic noise canceling reacts instantly with any loud noise above the level from clapping hands to gunshots making it easy to not flinch when at range. The built in microphone works flawlessly to have conversations. The voices are clear and there is a volume button for adjusting. Overall fit feels balanced and slim against head and much lighter than other companies with similar features.Cons: The ear muff pads become uncomfortable after a few hours especially around the area between the ears and head when wearing glasses. Developed a headache after about two hours. Definitely recommend replacing standard pads with gel pads from Walker for a very comfortable fit. The battery compartment is a little difficult to open at first. It’s slightly hidden and will take getting used to to open it without using a lot of pressure. These are a great pair hunting or at the range. Some others may achieve lower decibel protection but it’s minimal. When you add comfort, function and quality, these are the first to consider. Generally these are also lower in price and often have discount coupons from Amazon. Have two pair and have never had a problem for two years.

Out of box review
This review is written before any range use. With that said, so far, these are great they function exactly as expected. The Bluetooth connects easily and functions perfectly. Regarding Bluetooth the complaints I see the most are that the sound quality is poor. Since these are not designed to be music headphones I think the negative reviews on this part are unfair. On mine, I turn the Bluetooth all the way up and can hear the music perfectly well and depending on the song and how it was recorded and released I sometimes need to turn it down because itâs to loud. No there is no deep bass on these little speakers but where there is a bass line in the music you can hear it just fine. Calls come in loud and crystal clear as well. Pretty sure thatâs what the Bluetooth was created for anyway, as good as the quality is on calls. I tested the range on the Bluetooth within the walls of my house. Leaving my phone in one room (door closed) and walking down the hall to the furthest room approximately 30 feet away I never lost connection, not even a stutter. And concerning the sound enhancement and noise canceling? The sound enhancement is great, feels like I have super hearing. I donât have the best hearing to begin with, no where near the point of needing hearing aids, but Iâve suffered a little loss over the years Iâm sure. Concerning the loud noise canceling and the passive noise blocking from the padding on the cans? That also works great the padding alone blocks a lot of sound. I banged two pots next to my ears while using the noise canceling and heard nothing other than the little bit of noise that made it through the padding itself. So that part is at least functioning properly and I am assuming would do itâs job just fine at the gun range or out hunting. While hunting you could no doubt hear even the little tiny creepy crawlies without any issues. Would never go hunting without them. Over all these are great, glad I bought them. But shipping on these was the worst! I donât know the reason but it took 2 months to get them. It claimed before purchase that this would be case, so I knew what to expect. But thatâs still terrible imo. Especially since now I see the shipping is only a few days wait so yeah that sucked. I like the profile, weight, comfort, protection, they seal around the ears nicely and the amount I paid for them was I bit high but not out of control. Iâm a cheapskate to begin with so everything is overpriced to me. But IMO around $80.00 is fair for these. Also no complaints on the quality of the build at all.

Comfortable, picked up conversations easily
I purchased these over a year ago but have only used them today on a range for the first time. I debated whether to use them with or w/o my hearing aids. I used them w/o and was glad I did. They picked up conversations around me several lanes away I did not know were taking place and I heard every word. I never heard any gunshots at all during the qualifications. Had I used my hearing aids, the sounds would have been too loud and the comfort of the earmuffs would have been hindered, with the range glasses, hearing aids, and the earmuffs. Overall great experience with the performance of these earmuffs and I am happy I purchased them. I have read that they drain the batteries when left in place for long periods, so I took my batteries out for that reason and out of habit with electronics, due to battery seepage. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will probably purchase another set another date.

O áudio da linha razor é péssimo, parece que estamos escutando um vÃdeo muito mal gravado. Consciência situacional zero, não dá pra identificar ao certo de qual lado está vindo o som. Eu uso um Walkers Xcel e um Peltor Tac 300, e digo que vale cada centavo a diferença de preço. Não jogue dinheiro fora com a linha Razor.
