Surprisingly soft and well made
This is one of those Amazon purchases where I donât understand how it could cost so little. Just the fabric to make this would cost more than the cost of this sling. Even though the shoulder strap is not adjustable, I find that more comfortable across my shoulder. I am 5 foot 4, and Because I have a large belly right now, the area in which the dog lies is a little bit resting high on my belly instead of flat against my side. For that reason, obese or large bosomed people might find the strap short or feel it a little bit small, but the construction is excellent and the ability to move it to different parts of your upper body and across the back of your shoulders is manageable because the strap is wide and comfortable. The sling part itself is extremely well-made. The lining is smooth and the little toes and toenails canât get caught on the totally smooth lining fabric because it cannot snag. That was an extremely thoughtful thing to do. I love that Somebody realized that they donât want any little toes and toenails getting damaged or hurt because then the dogs will not want to sit in the carrier, and that they took the time to line this so beautifully so that the outside is soft, discreet cotton, and the inside is slippery and cool and safe. I thought the snaps were a nice touch, there are three plastic snaps that go across the top of the carrier to keep the dog safe inside, but there is enough room for the dog to poke their head out of one of the openings and still not fall out. The reason why these plastic snaps are so thoughtful is they make very little noise, unlike the Velcro that is used for many carriers, which is terrifyingly loud and scary for dogs to hear so close to their heads. The fact that the snaps are plastic may or may not make them more durable, I donât know, but They certainly wonât rust when you wash it. And they donât have any sharp edges. They make the carrier very easy to open and close. You can glance down and see your pet very easily even if theyâre lying down at the bottom. I love that There is a phone pocket! You canât even buy a phone carrier for this price. So in some ways youâre getting a phone carrier with a free dog carrier attached lol. The fabric is so soft, which is very important for me because I have a nerve condition and I cannot stand fabrics that itch or are artificial. This is a soft light gray cotton. It is not stretchy, which actually makes it sturdier and less likely to dig into your back or shoulder and more likely to sit properly. I washed it in cold water today and let it air dry, it dried very quickly and it did not shrink. It is very lightweight which is super important because I am elderly, and cannot carry any weight other than my dog. I love this dog carrier and I never feel like I love what I get from Amazon itâs either tolerable or I accept it or I just give it away. This surprised me and made me want to share. By the way, my dog is a two-year-old 5 1/2 pound Chihuahua. I got the small. I donât know if I had gotten a larger size if the strap wouldâve been longer. Perhaps only the carrying part would have been larger. Depending on your dogâs age and personality, that will determine how comfortable they are lying in the sling, but as soon as you start moving, whether or not youâre cleaning the kitchen , and you donât want to leave them when theyâre feeling sick, or theyâre just a baby, or you just need the comfort of a warm animal against your body, this is definitely the carrier to get. Iâve wasted money on other things, this is a purchase Iâm finally proud of. I hope it works for you too. This is my fourth dog carrier and the only one i am keeping. The others were too cumbersome, or the dog could not lie down at the bottom and sleep, or the angle was wrong, and they were all more expensive! Thank you to the company for thinking of all the details and making this so affordable. The only suggestion I would make for improvement is to not sew that care tag that all fabric items have into the bottom of the lining. Itâs visually discreet because itâs on the inside however, it doesnât feel soft. I wish that it had been sown elsewhere so that it has no contact with my animalâs body. And lastly, this carrier does not have that awful chemical smell that so many things have. It has no smell at all. I think this is gonna last the lifetime of my pet, and I hope thatâs a very long time. Happy snuggly days ahead to us all! ð UPDATE: I found that after washing this carrier, the tag inside was soft. No longer stiff. And I attached a video so you can see I took my guy whale watching with me and it was perfect. I forgot i had it on. I stood with him for 4 hours on the windy boat and he was fine the whole time inside. (Ok watch the video, maybe we wonât go again lol.)

Wonderful product!
This is the third sling Iâve tried in the last few years. I like the others and they have held up well, but this one is by far my favorite. The first two (from other âbrandsâ) were black and stayed hairy even after washing. They both had tethers, but my chihuahuas still werenât that secure in the âpouchesâ (as I call them). If I bent over suddenly, there was a high risk of falling out, but THIS pouch is wonderful! It, too, has a tether, but it also has a snap on both ends of the opening to adjust the size of the opening. The snaps greatly lower, even eliminate, the risk of my 4-pound chihuahua falling out if I get careless making sudden bending moves. Itâs a very well-made, quality sling made of thick (but not hot) fabric which gives pretty good bottom [paw] support. The strap in mine is adjustable and has a deep, zippered pocket for holding [clean] poop bags, treats, phones, small wallets, etc. The zipper keeps everything inside the pocket very secure. This time I bought the gray (which is a lovely shade) so the dog hair doesnât show so much. My chihuahuas love these because they can go around the house and the yard with me during the day. Your dog might be a bit nervous at first until he/she gets used to the wobbly footing due to the lack of a firm, flat bottom, but in no time theyâll get used to it and love hanging out with you! Itâs a good fit for my tiny chihuahua, but thereâs plenty of room for a 10+ pound dog to be comfortable as well.

Comfortable and easy to use
Still working on adjusting straps so pup sits just right, but Iâm sure it will be fine. Took our 3 pound Pomeranian, who currently has a cone on his head and a cast on his leg, out on a walk yesterday. Will add blanket so he sits a little higher and I donât have to support him as much with my arms and he stays warm, but it worked just fine and I was able to wrap my fleece around him. Canât wait to try it when he is all healed and can just sit all snuggled inside. Material is nice and soft and I love the snaps to adjust for dog size to feel more secure! Easy to use. Would buy again.

Nice and safe
We are using this for our 10 week old mini poodle puppy (5.6 lbs). He fits nice and securely. The material is really nice and soft on the inside and outside. The quality of it is really nice. I like the fact it has the collar/harness leash so he can’t escape all that easily. We don’t use the pouch with zipper but it is a nice feature to have. The straps to adjust are great. overall the quality is fantastic. The pup is comfy and sits in their nicely and it keeps him safe until he gets all his vaccines and can then walk outside.

Love the concept….but…
I don’t know if it was just me or what but this thing was so awkward and my dog was terrified of me trying to carry her in it. My husband tried too and it was too small for him so it was also impossible to carry her in. She’s a chihuahua so it’s not like she was too big for it. We returned it, but it might work for someone else. It looks so functional and easy in the photo in the ad.

Happy with this product
This sling works great. My puppy is 12 weeks old and weighs 3 pounds. She can snuggle down completely in the sling or ârideâ sitting with her head out the top. Sheâs very comfortable in it and often falls asleep. The hook that latches to the hook on her harness keeps her secure. I havenât felt the need to use the snaps. The sling bag is large enough that she has room to grow and still fit unless she gets bigger than expected. The zipper compartment is large enough to hold the large iPhone. I ordered it in black. Itâs a 100% polyester fabric similar to a sweatshirt but feels like polyester/microfiber rather than cotton, with a slick finish lining. Being black it does show lint, hair, etc. I have not washed it yet.
