    Very nice
Very impressed by the finish and quality of neck and body. The bridge is decent as well. Action was almost exactly the way I like it. I knew the tuners would eventually be an issue, so I replaced them right away. The bridge pickup is a little too bright for my taste, but the neck pickup is sweet. Still has a lot of those nice Strat tones even with humbuckers. Overall sound and playability are excellent. Nice to see that something really good can still be affordable.

Worth every dollar and then some. Perfect beginners guitar or for travel.
This Squire is surprisingly excellent!! I’ve owned & owe other Strats in the past including a Epi LP (which I still have and enjoy), but this very inexpensive guitar is better than I honestly thought it would be. I had my expectations low for such a low cost guitar, but after viewing some YouTube vids and the current discount cost (Black Friday deals etc.), I figure I’d give it a try and after doing my own set up on it (which wasn’t much from the factory settings), this this is fantastic for what it is.Pros:- Neck is super easy to play on; not too chunky, (the slim “C”-shape is perfect).- Frets were spot on with no sharp ends or frets that needed smoothing.- Tuners were fine and don’t see any need to replace them anytime soon.- Bridge was made well and easy to set the intonation (which wasn’t off on mine) and set the action (which was a little high for my tastes). Also the bridge on this one is a 2 point and not 6 screw (great upgrade from the older ones). I also set my bridge flush to the body as well.- Body is light and yes it’s thinner than normal strat body’s, but totally ok for its sounds and price point.- Pickups are a little hot as to be expected, but work just fine (an upgrade to Alnico’s later on will be better. however no rush). It’s also excellent you get a tone adjustment knob for the bridge pickup.- Overall fit and finish are excellent, truly more than I expect on a Squire and guitar at this price point.- Great guitar to mod on later if needed.Cons: (being nit-picky)- Pickup selector is a cheaper 5-way switch, but that can be easily replace with a better one later on if really needed.- Sure, change the strings to something better.- Poplar body lacks the warmth of other woods of course, but I honestly have no issues, however some might not care for this brighter and lighter type wood. It’s not my Epi LP with a Mahogany body, but this Strat is super light and easy to carry around.

Like others said, almost perfect from the box.
Looks, feels and plays amazing. Sturdy built awesome metallic color. Came basically set up? Intonation and all out the box. Easiest set up and ready to play instrument at an amazing price. Beginners can’t go wrong here at all. I actually suggest getting this and not wasting your money on any 2 to 3 hundred dollar epiphone or ibanez.

Faulty Fender cable limits 5 stars!
As a first time beginner at electric guitar, this bundle was exactly what i was looking for. It came with everything i needed (including the 3 free months of fender play which some reviews mentioned missing). The guitar itself is easy to hold with no sharp edges found, and the strap is adjustable so i could get a perfect fit. Tuning was simple (i tried both the included clip on FT-1 tuner and fenders free app and had no issues with either). Love being able to switch between single coils and humbucker with 5 way switch to easily mimic guitar tones for various songs. The amp can get seriously loud filling a standard sized living room with ease. Im happy this bundle includes the 15G over the 10G, as the 15G has the normal volume knob as well as the mid range adjustment knob.Everything advertised in the bundle I received, but unfortunately the cable, (though it looked brand new and had the plastic twist tie on it when i unboxed everything) is either loose or faulty on one end. It doesnt look visibly damaged or bent but it sure isnt what its suppost to be inside. Id compare it to an old phone charger where it has to be held at the PERFECT angle to get any sound to come through the amp. I of course attached this end to the amp instead of the guitar so i could start playing right away. But its INFURIATING to have to move as little as possible just to have sound constantly coming out (most volume knobs on guitar and amp are set to middle or slightly off of that so i was 110% sure from the beginning it was the cable and not either guitar or amp issue. I plugged in a 1/4in cable from my pair of studio monitors and had no continuity issues at all regardless of standing up or walking around. Since i need both cables i have for my monitors, ill be going out to buy another 1/4 guitar cable that doesnt need to be messed with every minute just to keep me hearing my music.

    Great guitar
I am a mid level beginner (whatever that is) and recently decided to change course from acoustic finger picking to electric with a pick. The guitar is well made, sounds great (at least to my untrained ear) and looks good!So far, I am very happy with this purchase!

With a little setup, this plays well.
I was looking for an inexpensive Strat style electric and this was it. It plays well, stays in tune ok & sounds pretty good. It’s made in Indonesia, hence why they’re inexpensive since labor is more expensive here in the U.S. or Mexico even. If you’re looking to get into playing an electric, this will get you started because it comes with pretty much everything you need to get going. The AMP is pretty nice & for being a 15W amp it sure fills the room pretty good. The only thing I’ve notice that I’d change is that I wished they had used better pots on it. It seems there isn’t much to them until you get beyond ½ way on the dials. If I decide to put some $ into it to bump it up a bit I’ll end up changing them put & upgrade the pickups; not that the pickups are horrible because they’re not. The finish is pretty nice too. I’ve seen complaints that either the finish or the pick guard was scratched. I’m wondering if they realize that there is a pretty stubborn to peel plastic protective sheet over not just the pickups but the whole front of the body to guard against scratches before it arrives to them. I say this because when I unboxed mine you could see small scratches and blemishes, but once I removed the protective sheet it really popped & looked nice.

Guitar not new shows marks on guitar.Don’t trust to replace if they have a sticker on it signed by employee as new. Will keep as still works for now. Buy next one from someone else.

This guitar is my first one (Beginer level) I did not want a accustic guitar , not as I have anything against them , being a Quo Fan ,problem is I don’t have the hair anymore at nearly 82 yo , the first words out of my mouth and the wife’s was WOW its a beuty , tuned it up useing the fender app (the app sometimes is erratic) I may let you know how much I learn when I am as good as Garry Moore or Hank Marvin ,( I wish )..PS one annoying thing with reviews is people giving guitars and other items 5 stars and not writing a review , it helps people when trying to choose….
