A great intro to STEM concepts!
We had a lot of fun with this kit. I helped get things started, and my kindergartener took over and independently completed the last 19 of 21 projects. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Everything worked perfectly. It took her probably about an hour and a half to finish. I’m not sure if she will use it often, but our younger kids will, and we are definitely buying more Snap Circuit kits! We also gifted this kit to other kindergarten friends only to receive rave reviews. Great value to spark an interest in STEM. Highly recommend!

Summary- my 5 year old can do it with help and LOVES it.Pro- easy directions and appealing for kids. Great beginning science thing.Con- the battery pack is stupidly fragile. Mine was broken gave it as a Christmas present so that wasnât worth the returning itâs just disappointing for an otherwise great gift

Great Set For Beginners – Puts A Good Visual To Theory – Using With 6 Year Old
This is an easy way to teach the theory of electricity to younger ones and hopefully spark an interest. The one thing that is great about young children learning about electricity is that it is so darn logical. It is very linear, and it promotes analytical thinking processes. This kit has enough to get them started and will work well with expanded kits later.

UPDATE:We received the requested replacement parts in the mail! There was no confirmation or notification from the seller regarding receipt of our request but the items showed up in the mail in time for Christmas stocking stuffers. THANK YOU! Kids still play with this toy and Iâve purchased a much larger set since then that they absolutely love!Bought this for our son and he absolutely LOVED it! He played with it for a few times but the light/fan stopped working consistently then a few weeks later the battery pack cover came loose and now the CD10 piece light is lose so it wonât turn on. Weâve tried contacting customer service and completed their replacement product request but with no response. Iâm not sure how best to get ahold of the replacement parts and thatâs very unfortunate bc it really is a great toy. I was planning to get the expanded sets for Christmas but given the poor or lack of customer service, will not be moving forward with that.Other than the customer service component, I would highly recommend the product as itâs a great starting point for younger minds to learn about circuits and electricity.

Bought this for my 8-year-old son, he is mostly interested in his PC so bought this small set as was not sure he would be interested.It was a present from Santa so just got around to taking a look. It’s well built and the instructions are easy to follow, my son had to be prised off his PC to play with this, but did enjoy it. He was soon able to build the models and it gave him a great sense of achievement.He wants to take it to school and show his friends which is great, too early to see if his interest will last but hope it does as I like it as well and want to get bigger sets!
