Speaker for hard of hearing!!
I love this this quality sound speaker system by the couch!! I can hear without blasting sound throughout the room. I can have the speaker close to me so I can hear it clearly. I can also use the headphones and watch tv without having the sound interrupting my roommates sleep. Stereo? No problem, the speaker can be used on my stereo system too! Itâs absolutely portable and works for any device in the house. Music, video, regular tv? You got it covered! Laptop! Yup! It plugs in wherever you want to use it ! It is so easy to use. The price was great. Iâm thinking about buying one for my mother too. This would make a great Christmas or birthday gift.

I recently purchased the “SIMOLIO Wireless Portable TV Speakers with TV Audio Listening Assistance,” and I’m extremely satisfied with both the product and the customer service. The speakers are perfect for enhancing TV sound, especially for seniors or anyone who is hard of hearing. The voice highlighting feature really makes dialogue clearer, and the 100ft range gives plenty of flexibility in where I can place them.When I received my package, the optic cable was missing. I contacted the seller, and they responded immediately. They sent a replacement cable very quickly, and it arrived in perfect condition. Their prompt and helpful service really impressed me.Overall, the speakers work wonderfully, and the extra headset and adapters are a nice bonus. I highly recommend this product, not just for its quality, but also for the excellent customer service that stands behind it.

Worked perfectly with TCL Roku TV using Optical audio port
I was able to install this for my elderly parents easily. The Optical cable worked for their TCL Roku TV, it has an optical audio port that was not being used. I did not have to do anything extra with the TV settings. They have a small cable box in use with the TV but no other accessories. Their box is not a DVR box and has no time display- very basic. I did not have to place the base far from the TV for it to work. That was a concern due to TV placement in their home and access to plugs, but it works fine sitting 1 foot from the TV. So I plugged the base into the wall and used the optical audio cable to connect it to the TV. I placed the speaker across the room and plugged it into an outlet under the sofa. The sound was perfect and very clear. The speaker is simple with just a dial for on, off, and volume so my elderly parents can use it due to simplicity. They used to have TV volume higher than 50-60 to hear and now it can be below 20 as they basically can hear the TV through the speaker very clearly and at a reasonable volume as well. (they have refused hearing aids for years!) What a great product. Very satisfied.

Works very well for hard of hearing. Easy set up. Easy to use.
My friend who is hard of hearing wanted a sound bar for the TV so he could hear better. The problem with that is he has to turn it up so loud for him to hear then it is too loud for everyone else. This small speaker is placed on the end table next to him on the couch and he can adjust the sound just right for him and not be too loud for others. His wife really likes it when he puts on the headphones so she doesn’t have to listen to the TV at all if she doesn’t want to, or she can adjust the TV to exactly the right volume for her. Time will tell how reliable this is, but for now it is perfect for what was needed.The speaker was super easy to set up. Nice that it came with two AC power adapters, one for the base station/transmitter and one for the speaker. I connected the transmitter to the TV with the supplied optical digital audio cable (there is also a standard RCA type stereo audio cable included), plugged the AC adapter in and turned on the power switch. Then plugged the speaker’s AC adapter to power and turned up the volume knob. That’s all there was to it. Plugging in the supplied headphones to the back of the speaker turns off the speaker, and the volume knob adjusts volume for the headphones. A switch on the back allows you to adjust the “tone” to have more treble or bass to your preference. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is while the audio is pretty good, it isn’t “Bose” quality and if you turn it up too far (which is way to loud anyway) it distorts somewhat. For the price though it does a very nice job. It also comes with spare headphone foam ear pieces. All in all a very good value.

Do not try to use two or more of these in the same house
The seller should tell people that the speaker and base unit of these items are not specifically paired to each other. If you have two units in the house and you use both units in the wireless mode (i.e. speaker not in the base unit) the speaker may connect to the other base unit connected to the other TV.I have one for the living room TV and was very happy with it. I purchased a second one for the bedroom TV. After I hooked everything up for the bedroom TV and started using it in the wireless mode (i.e. speaker not in the base module) the bedroom TV speaker connected to the living room TV. I was getting the audio from the TV in the living room not the bedroom TV.I placed the speaker for the bedroom unit back in the base and it played the audio from the bedroom TV. When I removed it from the base module it stayed connected to the correct TV. However, when the living room TV was shut off the speaker for the living room unit started playing the audio for the bedroom TV.When the living room TV was turned on again the speaker for this unit continued to play the audio for the bedroom TV. In order to have the living room speaker connect to the living room TV again, the bedroom TV AND the base unit in the bedroom had to be shut off. I have disconnected one of the units so I guess I now have a spare.

Excellent sound, lots of volume, easy to set up. I would recommend this. If you turn the TV volume below 4 we had the speaker sometimes go to sleep because it thought there was no signal even though we could hear it fine. Easy fix once we figured it out

I am profoundly impaired and have been all of my life. Thanks to technology I am able to function relatively well for the most part. Television in particular movies have been, more of a challenge. Well this has all changed thanks to the Simolio 2.45 wireless Speakers System. When we received the system, because it seemingly appeared too difficult to connect it, to or hook it up to the TV, we were intending to return it. We had purchased the extended warranty for it, and feared it were to be annulled, the cost of the insurance would likely not be refunded. I then reread the reviews and as a result of others had written, I went to the Best Buy store, and hired one of their technicians to help us with the set up. At the cost of $80. they did the job. They also corrected another sound problem with our TV. It has been the best money spent. We had previously purchased another speaker but it quit working within a short time. Another thing I discovered is that Amazon sells a similar Simolio Speaker model SM-6210, which carries a warning for users who have a pace maker. Hopefully the Simolio we purchased will function for a reasonable length of time.

For the first time in years I can actually understand what people on the television are saying without having the volume on high. I could even hear people âtutâ . I had forgotten people did that. Amazing. I even turn of the subtitles during sporting evens so I can see the score information.It is easy to install and you can carry it into any room so you can hear music or dialogue anywhere.It is so much clearer than tv speakers or a sound bar. I would recommend it to any hard of hearing person who struggles to hear and understand the television.

Ich bin begeistert. Seit langem störte mich der (für mich) sehr laute Ton, wenn mein Mann Fernsehen schaut. Nun stellt er den Simolio neben sich – und hat den Ton so leise, dass es mir manchmal fast zu leise ist ;-))Mit dem Ton von Sendungen, in denen überwiegend gesprochen wird, ist er sehr zufrieden.Wie es bei Musiksendungen ist, hat er noch nicht ausprobiert.Ich finde es sehr praktisch, dass es für den Lautsprecher ein zweites Ladegerät gibt – auch wenn wir das im Moment nicht nutzen.Zur Akkulaufzeit kann ich nur soviel sagen: für einen Fernsehabend nach 20 Uhr bis Mitternacht reicht der Akku dicke.Die Umstellung an unserem schon recht alten Philips hab ich nur mit Hilfe der Hotline geschafft, weil die Menüpunkte ganz anders heiÃen als in der Anleitung. Aber mit Hilfe gings ganz fix.Fernbedienung hat das Gerät nicht – wir brauchen die auch nicht – es steht ja in Reichweite, wenns in Aktion ist.
