Good for the cats
I bought this to brush my Pomeranian with, but it doesn’t go deep enough. The cats love it though. Does a great job of getting loose hair off of them. Easy to clean. I think this works best on animals with shorter coats.

Great Brush, Great Time
We have several cats and recently took in a stray cat that is fully grown. She gets overstimulated easily with petting, but will sit for several minutes while being brushed with this brushIt’s done wonders for her top and under coat, it’s high quality, it’s easy to release brushed hair (cleaning isn’t the same as releasing, fyi), and has been great at brushing out full on knots of hair. With the knots, it’s taken several brush sessions, but they do eventually get worked out, something I didn’t think possible without cutting them outThe metal pins have a plastic/rubber bead at the end of each pin, but are still kind of “sharp,” so don’t brush with too much for force. Sensitive skin cats might not appreciate thatFor the price, this brush is GREAT. I’ve only had it for a month, so can’t say much on durability, but it’s been holding up very well so farOverall, definitely would recommend

Works great for long hair dogs
Really gets in that under coat and untangles the fur. We were so surprised at how much and how fast the fur came out. The bristles are a little pointy even with the rubber on the ends. The self cleaning feature is my favorite part no more picking it out with your hands
