    These are Indeed Royal
Ah, the iconic blue tin—just the sight of it brings back memories of cozy afternoons and sweet indulgence. The Royal Dansk Danish Cookies are the epitome of buttery perfection, each one delicately crafted to deliver a satisfying crunch and a melt-in-your-mouth finish. Whether you’re savoring the pretzel-shaped cookie with its subtle sugar sprinkle or the rich, smooth taste of the vanilla ring, every bite is a reminder of why these cookies have been a household favorite for generations. What sets these cookies apart is not just their taste, but the consistency of their quality. Every time I pop open that blue tin, I’m greeted by an assortment of perfectly baked cookies that never disappoint. The texture is always spot on—crisp, but not too hard, and they maintain their freshness long after the tin is first opened. These cookies are so addictive that it’s nearly impossible to eat just one…or five. And let’s not forget the joy of dipping them into a cup of tea or coffee, where they hold up beautifully without crumbling. But the experience doesn’t end with the last cookie. The reusable tin is a treasure in itself, perfect for storing anything from sewing supplies to spare change. It’s like getting two gifts in one—a delicious treat and a practical container. Whether you’re treating yourself or looking for the perfect gift, the Royal Dansk Danish Cookies in the blue tin are always a delightful choice. They’re more than just cookies—they’re a tradition of indulgence that never goes out of style.

Really very good quality, and fun as a gift.
I like how these store so easily and are something you can offer someone, like throwing them a frisbee or a life saver, around this time of year (autumn). They are, I think, a very thoughtful gift. They come in handy for the person you gift them to, whenever there’s a moment when no other food is convenient and they are perfect with instant beverages like coffee, tea or hot cocoa.

    Wish it didnt have coconut
These are really good cookies. One minor gripe I have about them though is that there’s no telling what ingredients are in which ones. Not every cookie has coconut in them. I’m not allergic to it or anything, but personally I think it has no place in cookie-baking. I hate the fibrous and crunchy tough consistency to it. It takes what was a beautiful smooth cookie, and just ruins it. All the others are really good though. I love the pretzel and spiral shaped ones; they seem sweeter than the others and have a nice buttery-smooth consistency. The rest are just crunchy little bricks. I only had about 5 broken cookies in my tin, which is good. They were packed well.

Delicious Butter Cookies with a Satisfying Crunch and Texture!
One of my favorite memories of my grandmother was the time when she would bake cookies and put them in tins to save for the holidays. Literally a whole bed in the back room was covered with used cookie tins all filled with freshly baked cookies. Now I bake less for the holidays but still love having the luxury of enjoying a cookie out of a tin container. When my husband saw these he exclaimed that these were the cookies he remembered in the blue tin. So we are both happy having a treat to eat as the holidays approach. These are rich and buttery and the sugar topping on some of the cookies is really a wonderful sweet crunch to enjoy!~The Rebecca Review

I keep a tin of these at all times!
So here’s the thing: these are Danish butter cookies. One might think they are all the same, right? Wrong! I have tried some that tasted like cardboard, some that were too sweet, some that were bitter, some that were too dry, some that were crumbly, some too hard, some too soft, and some that just looked & tasted like they were expired but weren’t.But, the Royal Dansk: now we’re talking! I always keep a tin or two or these in my kitchen in the event I get unexpected visitors, or just for a nice snack. If I have friends stop over unexpectedly I always put a plate of these out, and they disappear quickly. I enjoy them in the morning with a cup of coffee or tea. ( or any time of the day with a cup of coffee or tea). These little butter cookies have such a good flavor. They are in a tin and have different shapes that are separated by small paper pastry cups. They are cute little cookies , some round in shape & some pretzel shaped. Some sprinkled with sugar, some not. They are considered to be a hard cookie & they are -but they are mildly hard. They have a crunchy outside & a semi crunchy inside. Oh, and they are not dry.The Dansk is the only brand that I buy.
