Powder for Pup’s Pearly Whites: Mixed Results
Tried this dental powder for my dog’s less-than-fresh breath. It’s pretty easy to use – just sprinkle it on his food and he gobbles it up without complaint. The mint scent is nice, definitely noticed a difference in his breath after a few weeks. Liked that it’s made with natural ingredients, made me feel better about adding it to his diet. The container lasts a while, which is good considering the price. But it’s not all tail wags and treats. Didn’t see much change in the visible plaque on his teeth, still needed regular brushing. The powder can clump a bit if it gets damp, had to be careful sealing the container. While my dog liked it, a friend’s picky eater wouldn’t touch food with the powder on it. The smell can be a bit strong when you first open the container, might be off-putting for some. And let’s be real, it’s hard to tell if those fancy-sounding ingredients are doing much beyond the mint freshening his breath. Overall, it’s an okay supplement for maintaining oral health, but don’t expect miracles. Might be worth trying if you’re looking for an easy addition to your dog’s routine, but probably won’t replace regular dental care.ââââââââââââââââ

It really works!
Both my dog and I love this product! I have a 40lb five year old Catahoula and we’re just about to finish the first jar. She loves the taste of the Pet Honesty dental powder, and it is cleaning her teeth! The bottom teeth are now completely white and there’s only a little bit of tartar left on her upper canine teeth.I’m filling the scoop to a level full or slightly less, and the jar has lasted 6 weeks. So not only am I pleased with the results, but the product has also lasted longer than advertised and than I expected.Both my dog and I agree… another great Pet Honesty product!

Being a crazy dog lady, I follow many accounts of animals across social media platforms. I’m now with our 3rd and 4th chihuahuas, and know the tooth brushing is necessary but is also difficult. Serena and Madi posted about your product and I ran so fast to make the purchase that I had to go back and find the discount code they offered! The package came same day, smells great, is easily added to our pets wet food and they so far seem to enjoy the taste! I am hopeful that it will help our pets dental health. I completely expect that I will be subscribing to this product soon!

Can give diarrhea, watch dosages
This actually works. Have used for approx 23 days on three year old GWP, 12 year old Yorkie cross, and 9 year old Shih Tâzu cross. Will continue to use. They seem to love the taste. My one caveat is to start low as far as dosage. The 65 lb GWP is getting a scant half scoop, the littles get barely an eighth of a scoop, daily, on their evening feeds. Initially I was giving too much (quarter scoop for the littles) and it gave them diarrhea. Will order again. I donât like anesthesia for dental work, especially with the older two. Also, last dental two months ago was $1,100, so thereâs that, too!

Did NOT help at all
Have been using it daily for a month now and it is useless, didnât help at all with the breath smell. We used greenies before and they worked much better. Iâll go back to ordering them.Note – my dog liked the taste of the powder and it wasnât hard on her stomach.

Dog approved, breath not so improved
Was so optimistic for this one, moldy disappointed. My dog is 10, and her breath has gotten worse in recent years. Sheâs not a fan of long brushing and most supplements in her water or chews she just wonât touch. She doesnât mind this powder and often finishes her bowl in one visit (sheâs typically a grazer, so i take it that she thinks it pretty tasty) her breath is âbetterâ barely. But weâre sticking with it, i think itâll continue with use.
