I’m impressed by its high hardware specification, especially on 10000 mAh fast charging and 4″ screen.With the fast charging, I can use it on back-to-back nights without interruption. The screen is in great size. It’s easy to use and view everything clearly. It helps a lot to observe animals when camping. In addition, it comes with 64GB card which providing storage space on video and photo. Overall this product provides a good balance between product quality and price.

Quality Night Vision Goggles. The distance and clarity is amazing!
I took a chance and bought something for myself that I’ve always wanted and I have to admit these night vision goggles are so much fun. I was amazed at the quality of the goggles. Ok, let me back up to when I got the package. I opened up the outer cardboard box that the goggles were shipped in and inside was a very nicely designed box. So nice that I felt like I was opening a really nice and expensive gift. The luxury continued as I opened the Night Vision Goggles box. Inside was an elegant black envelope with the instructions inside and a semi-transparent, wax paper blueprint of the goggles features. Under those was a nice black, zippered, carrying case that was really nice quality. Inside that were the goggles and another little draw string pouch with the charging cables in it. I had to pick it up and turn it on before charging it (after all – that is the first thing you want to do with something like this). It powered on and a brilliant digital dispay showed a blurry image of the other side of the room. I quickly found the left eyepeice and turned it to focus the image. Wow, it was great. I then proceeded to play with the different buttons to learn what they do, followed by a trip into a room where I could shut the doors to test out the totally black super vision power that I now had. (sorry for being cheesy with this, but I was literally having so much fun that I wanted to share that with you). I’ve wanted night vision goggles for so long and finally I had a pair. Ok, now for a little technical discussion. The goggles are to be used similar to a pair of binoculars – except you hold them out in front of you and focus your eyes on the screen instead of looking through lenses. These are not like a pair of Navy Seal team goggles that you strap on to your head – instead you hold them out in front of you. There are six buttons (three on the left and three on the right, with two smaller buttons up front. The two smaller buttons control a convenient flashlight and the ability to turn the button-backlighting on and off. The Instruction manual goes over how all the buttons work, but let me point out a couple quick tips. The power button turns on and off the goggles, but it ALSO doubles by toggling the recordings from video mode to picture mode if you simply tap the power button while the goggles are already turned on. The other buttons are for things like turning on an infrared light at different brightnesses for seeing things at great distances. I was able to use the goggles to view things between 1/2 mile and a mile away. They might work further, but that was what I’m limited to in my neighborhoot. I love the way it picks up animals eyes in the dark when you scan the horizon. I was able to watch deer and foxes acting as if they never saw me as I was several hundred meters away. You can hit one of the buttons and record everything you are watching with an option to enable the built in microphone as well. You have to insert the microSD card to record pictures or video. There is a filter lens that has a little cord attached to it so you don’t lose it that fits over the main lense for daytime use and it conveniently has a little socket to fit it into for storage when you are using the goggles at night so it doesn’t get in your way. The goggles have a lot of settings for resolution – up to 54M for pictures and 4K for video. You can then take the microSD card out and view them on your computer or upload to your favorite social media. Oh, I just have to say that I really love how most devices have gone to using built in rechargeable batteries as this one does. It has a 10, 000mAh battery that lasts a long time between charges. The goggles have a tripod connector on the bottom so you could mount this outdoors and set it to record for hours and then view the footage later which is a nice feature. The screen can be set to turn off so it is fully dark when recording wildlife like this. Ok, enough rambling. Luckily the weather has cooperating after buying these, because every night as soon as it gets dark I’ve been going outside to use them. It has really opened up my eyes to a whole new world – in the dark. I would highly recommend these for yourself or as a gift.

I was impressed with the packaging and care that was used to produce a great product. I didn’t expect to get a 64gb card or a sturdy case.The setup was easy and the device is simple to use. Having a rechargeable lithium-ion battery is a huge plus, per the manual it will deliver 22 hours or usage time.I took a video of the unboxing which show the care the company takes to ensure it arrives in pristine condition. I took addition videos to show the daytime and nighttime variations, but Amazon only allows one video per review.I will say that at night is was able to pickup a small flame and a cold jar from my refrigerator at the same time and with enough quality to read the label on the jar. Adjusting the focus is simple and can be done while recording.It also has timers to allow you to record for different times automatically plus if not in use will shutoff after 3 minutes to save battery.The device also has a built in flashlight, including strobe functionality.I was able to mount it on my old camera tripod which is a plus if you want to catch wildlife after dark.The manual has great instructions which explain the functions and how to get the most out of the camera which includes photos and videos.This device is sturdy, feels well built and has ip65 waterproof. There is a tight cover securing the charge port and the micro SD slot.The Z098 Night Vision device, meets my needs and exceeds my original expectations. I have no regrets for my purchase and recommend it as a viable solution to have true night vision and lots of fun using it.
