Taste is OK straight but just a little garlic, worcester sauce, onion powder can really dress it up! I get it by the flat to keep on hand as a quick go to.

It is what it is. Definitely better than some other brands.
I generally like salt in my food, but there’s a little more than it’s necessary in this stuff. I’m not surprised I’ve had it years ago and I always thought it was salty then still is. Other than the salt issue, the flavor itself isn’t all that bad and it’s one of those things. You can doctor up and use it in other dishes. Get creative. Put it on rice her water it down and makes it rather passable beef soup. I live off grid in a small cabin without a refrigerator or freezer, so I eat a lot of canned goods. I will be ordering this product again in the future. I gave it four stars simply because of the salt. I rather suspected it wouldn’t be a problem for some people.

Tasty, really tasty
I liked to play with this product. I added other foods with it, like cream corn, canned mushrooms, or cream of mushroom soup. This was not because I disliked the flavor of the stew, I just wanted it to last as long as it could. The stew was great with everything, even canned spinach. Absolutely, a truly great product!!
