Bigger than other small cut packs
Iâm not too good at making a perfect steak out of some cuts and these a a little tough but thicker than the other ones we see in these small packs and not as much fat hidden on the bottom as the others too. It was so bad I wrote them and showed them a photo but never heard back so I just stopped buying them And I do most of our grocery shopping on Amazon.They taste great and make the best Asada Fries. I also learned to tenderize meat with a little BAKING SODA & WATER. Just marinate before cooking and rinse then season. Viola!! Try it.

Warning! Packaged in 1 pd Steaks, not as a Roast
I ordered 10pds of this. Was expecting maybe 2 5 pd roasts or 3 3.3 pd roasts. No. Packaged as 10 1 pd steak like packages. Can’t roast a 1pd steak. Not sure how I’m going to prepare these now but it is not what I was expecting from a Roast.

Really good when slow cooked
I’ve cooked with this two times now, both times in a dutch oven. First time was a roast with celery and carrots and the second time-tonight-was a beef stew. Both times I browned the meat first after seasoning and marinading. Both times came out delicious. Just note that these are small and will vary slightly in size. One was .79 lb and the other was 1.25 lbs. I bought another one for my husband who wants to come up with his own recipe.
