Add lower back flare-up recently to a repertoire of musculoskeletal issues, and I decided to get a TENS unit for home use. My chiro uses TENS in his physio therapy and it does wonders. This unit does not disappoint. There are many great videos with this product, well worth reviewing, esp. if you’re like me and hate reading manuals. Very nice that so many people are sharing their knowledge and experiences! The manual, however, is a worthy read (Yes, I did read it :); p. 18 has a great pictorial list of all the areas the unit can target; p. 25 lists areas you should not use the unit which, to me, is a critical bit of info!; troubleshooting pp. 26-29; symbol list, p. 30. This little manual covers all of this and much more! All in all, the unit is actually very intuitive to use! Many modes to choose from, and once you decide, hold down the middle button inside the mode, timer and intensity button, to lock in your preferences. Holding this button down again will release the lock so you can make changes.A few things to note: – Set up your pads before turning on the unit, then turn off before taking off the pads. You cannot charge while the unit is in use. It will automatically shut down, a great safety feature. – Be sure your skin is clean and dry. This will prolong the life of your pads. – I found my tendency is to want to pull the pads off after use using the cord side, and this is a bad idea. Peel off from one of the opposite corners. The pads are very sticky the first use. Repeated use will eventually wear off the sticky gel backing, at which time you get a new pad. There is a plastic electric pads holder, a very nice accessory! Rather than put the pads back on the plastic, put them on this plastic holder, making sure the cord does not get under the pad. There is room to store 4 pads, front and back, or a long pad per side. This unit, unlike many others, comes with 4 large pads, a nice benefit for targeting large areas. Once you adhere the pads to the plastic holder after use, put the holder inside the plastic bag it came in. This will also prolong the life of the pads. – One nice accessory not always available, is a plug to charge using a wall socket. Easy enough to use the USB plug on your computer as well. – The unit is Not touch-screen. I prefer this! – Go slowly increasing the intensity as it can become intense quickly and cause pain if you are not used to higher levels of pulsation and massage. My first use, I only used one tick up! – I have not had the unit long enough for this, but apparently the unit holds about a 10hr charge, so it should last a good while before a charge is needed. The longest one sitting use is 60 minutes, starting with 10 minutes and settings up 10 mins at a time from there. – The unit is small, lightweight, and comes with a nice carrying pouch.Here is a product page for replacement pads that I ordered, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CPXRHGJ1.

Has not helped my problem much, but incredibly well made, easy to use and powerful!
I’ve never used a TENS unit before, but recently I’ve been suffering from nerve pain. It was recommended that I try one of these devices. I did a lot of research and chose this one based on reviews and price. While it hasn’t had much effect on my nerve pain, I don’t think it’s any fault of the device. The unit is very well packaged, well designed, well built, easy to use and incredibly powerful. I can only use it at the lower settings. The adhesive pads are surprisingly good. I shaved my leg thinking it would stick to my hair (like a bandage). Well, that was not necessary. Even though the pads stick incredibly well, they somehow pull away from hair with ease and leave no greasy residue on your skin. I honestly don’t know how they do it. I hope they hold up to the promised 45 plus uses as constantly buying replacement pads would be my only concern due to the cost of them. The batter on this thing is amazing. One of the most popular models on Amazon uses a 9v D battery. I did not want to have to constantly replace expensive batteries. This unit uses a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and despite using it for about 10 hours, the battery level indicator has not dropped at all. Charging is easy with the included USB cable and charger. The only thing that could use some work is the manual. Although they are well written in perfect English and include color pictures, they do not explain what the different settings are. You just have to experiment with each one, but honestly, that’s part of the fun of using it. On low settings, the sensation of using a tens unit actually feels nice, like a message. On higher settings, it can actually be painful and can contract the muscles. This unit is well designed in that it always remembers what mode you were using and every time you change modes, it drops you to zero power level so you can gradually move it up. This is important because some modes are more aggressive than others. So while level 5 might be tolerable for one, it may not be for another. One more very minor gripe is the power switch seems backward. Off is on the right and on is switching it to the left. This is the opposite of what most devices do. Overall, very good unit.

Terrific Product
I just had a TKR last month and this little guy is amazing. It replaced a 20 yr. old ancient version that had done sterling service, but was due for retirement. I love the rechargeable feature which eliminates the need for 9v batts. I have recharged once and it has been used at least 8 times and still has a full charge. Also really like how small it is. Lots of programs, but so far I prefer #5. Very powerful, I keep it on about mid-range, or occasionally just above.Great value.

Good product

I really like this Tens machine, it’s very compact and has very strong power helping my muscles. I am quite busy and I can use it while working, putting the controller in my pocket while the pads are stuck to my sore muscles. I also like the amount of options and level of power, this unit is better because it has enough power with 2 wires, it doesn’t run out of power which also lasts over 8 hours. It’s also nice because it’s rechargeable not like other brands that use batteries. Thanks for the quality.
