What a game changer!
What a game changer! I bought these for my elderly little old man cat, who while he still goes to the box to poop, has taken a liking to peeing in the exact same spot about 5 feet from the box. I bought these because they were cost effective, and very inexpensive, but I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of these pads. They are thin and not so bulky, so they lay flat on the floor —and my cat is not alerted to the fact that he’s walking on something. They are super absorbent, and there’s no leak through. What a game changer —just fold it up and toss it away, and pop a new one down—a lifesaver for wood floors!An update: So, as I’m changing the paper towels I keep under the cats water bowl —because they always make a mess— I thought to myself, why don’t I just use one of these pee pee pads, brilliant! No leak through because of the plastic side… And I also started thinking of other uses for these wherever I make a small mess…for instance unclogging the U-joint under the sink – – of course you need a bucket as well for the water – – but put one of these under the bucket and it catches all the splashes. I also do some hand painting of items, and laying one of these on top of the table to catch the drips, etc. works fantastic, especially since there’s no bleed through—since the one side is plastic! So now my eyes have been opened, and I can see using these wherever there may be a small mess, and you don’t want leak-through…Who would’ve guessed these pads would be so useful for other applications… And just the right size—I have been using the regular size. These Amazon Basics Dog and Puppy Pee Pads are a lifesaver! The leak-proof design truly works, keeping my floors clean and dry during potty training. They absorb well and dry quickly, which helps prevent odors. The size is perfect for my puppy, and the pack of 100 is a great value. Best puppy pads on the market
I have two French bulldogs who are pad trained, Which is a relief since we live in an apartment and it’s sometimes not easy getting the both of them outside for regular bathroom breaks. Also- this way they can use the bathroom safely when I’m at work. I have tried most of the potty pads on the market, and these are now my new favorite. My previous favorite was the target brand, but over the last 2 years their quality tanked and the price doubled. After that, I was using the Costco brand, which was great price wise, but they were small and not very absorbent. Now Costco has discontinued their pads, so I decided to try out Amazon potty pads and I’m so glad I did! They are HUGE. I used to have to use 3-4 pads of the Costco brand to cover the dog’s bathroom space (Used my tiny foot as a reference for the size comparison). They are also fairly absorbent, I usually have little to no mess coming through to the underside when I change them out. The price was also pretty fair considering the size and quality. I will be sticking with the Amazon pads for as long as they continue to make them like this!

My 16 year old cat started peeing inappropriately…sometimes in the litter pan but sometimes on my bedroom carpet. We found out after taking him to the vet that he’s become diabetic. That’s why he’s been peeing so much. Even before we went to the vet, I bought these and started putting one down. He caught on pretty quickly. Now when he can’t make it to the litter pan, he uses the pee pad. It’s so much easier for me to handle than cleaning my carpet was. I just have to pick it up, put it in the garbage bag, and put a fresh one down. My cat has now started on insulin and hopefully won’t need these as often….but I feel much better having one down by the bedroom door “just in case”.

Our elderly cat has a litter tray but sometimes can’t reach it in time. When I put one of the pads down on the carpet he instantly recognised what it was for and used it thus saving the carpet. It was quite waterproof and could be quickly whisked away and disposed of.

Je suis très contente de ce produit que j’ai acheté pour mon chat qui fait ses besoins parfois dans la maison. C’est si confortable qu’il s’en sert de tapis finalement. Elles sont bien grandes et sont vraiment peu chères.
