Issue with LG OLED Flickering? This helped solve that
I play PC games on my LG OLED TV. I have a 22 ft run from my GPU to my TV. It has to go near electrical plugs. My issue was that I was getting my HDR signal would cut out and then come back, meaning I’d get a black screen during gameplay, would then wait 3-5 seconds, then it would show the HDR logo and then I’d be back. After TONS of PC/TV settings, I stumbled across a post stating that I should look into a fiber cable because what I am seeing is signal degradation due to interference or the length of my run. This cable itself is a one way cable, meaning each end HAS to go into the right device or the signal WILL NOT WORK. The cable listing does say this but it’s not very prominent. there is writing on the cable connectors to let you know which is which.Needless to say, this has solved all my HDR problems. I have the cable making the exact same run, near all the electrical and such, and no flickering. I’ve owned the cable about 28 days and waited to review it. I would absolutely use this cable again. Being able to have no issues and play Full 4k HDR 60+ FPS gameplay on my OLED is truly wonderful and this cable helped me eliminate a lot of the frustration that came with this when using a copper HDMI cable.

Updated: Perfect customer service – you can’t go wrong with Furui!
This fiber-optic long-running HDMI cable has received more than a thousand very strong ratings from many happy customers, even while coming in at the lower end of the price range for this type of interconnect. It’s features and capabilities and all the positive reviews are what led me to select this brand. However, there’s yet another reason I will continue to seek Furui products in the future. After my product arrived I installed the cable in my family room to connect an Onkyo AV receiver to a ViewSonic HD projector at the other end of the room. It replaced a standard (non-fiber-optic) HDMI cable run of the same length. Neither of multiple standard HDMI interconnects of such length could deliver a stable signal to the projector. And that’s precisely what these fiber-optic cables are for: very long runs. The new cable worked instantly and completely solved this problem. After a few months the cable failed. Because I had actually purchased two of these cables (the second for a different room) I connected up the second, which is presently working just fine. I assumed by then it was too late to exchange the broken cable. So I wrote my first product review to explain my experience.Within a business day after publishing my review, Furui practively contacted me about what happened, all on their own. With an apology, grace, and a brief conversation, the Furui representative offered me a redress so generous that it plainly distinguishes this company from others. In the end, the broken cable is being replaced and, furthermore, my time and trouble were also well recognized. You can buy a Mercedes-Benz and still get a lemon. It happens. Sometimes the consumer experience comes down to the company even more than the product. When that happens, you hope for fairness and understandng but often end up having an adversarial exhange with an overly stingy business representative. But that won’t happen with Furui. Buy Furui and they’ll take good care of you.By the way, the Furui cable delivers a beautiful picture 🙂

BROKEN – Please exchange for me
The cord itself is made very nice. Metal ends, look very durable. However mine stopped working abruptly when I was using it – The screen started flickering, it went black and fuzzy, then it wont even be recognized as being plugged in. I’m looking for an exchange please help me, amazon says its past the return window. Will 100% be a 5 star review with an exchange!

Better than copper
I’ve tried many products and seem to have poor results when the cable is over 15 feet. I finally decided that I should try a different technology. I’ve been using this 50-foot cable for about 30 days and have not had the slightest hint of trouble. It runs a TV upstairs from a computer downstairs without flaw. Actually, I’ve used it with three computers. Highly recommended.

WOW just wow!
Ok I just bought this cable on a gut feeling and I’m not disappointed in the least bit! The colors are vibrant, incredible clarity and lag for gamers is well, no more mad button pushing! Tried the cable on three different devices AppleTV, PS4 Pro, and XBOX One and all are connected to an LG CX 65″. Both consoles just were just excellent. The Apple Tv was just spectacular! I’m so impressed with the product that I’ll be purchasing one more or maybe two. They are pricey, to say the least, but in my opinion they are worth it.Update: I purchased two more cables the last being in August of 2021, while the first two work remarkably well (PS5 and Apple TV), the last purchase I made something started to go wrong. I connected this last cable to my XBox One and right now the picture started to flicker and sometimes it would just go to black screen. I thought that my XBox One has finally kicked the bucket. When I started to pull the cable from the console the “SOURCE” side of the cable was extremely hot! I thought it was the XBOX! Turns out that the cable is beginning to fail, I replaced the fiber cable with another one and the problem was solved! I love the cable but maybe I’ll purchase another cable from someone else. Don’t get me wrong the cables are great but to fail in less than a year hmmmm?
Stopped working after several months. Does not do 120hz 4k!! I spent a lot of money on this cable and it flickers and cuts out black going above 60hz at 4k –
Does not do 8k as advertised
