Quite possibly my favorite Amazion purchase ever!
I am so excited by this product and I see that many others were too. It was inexpensive, lightweight, super easy to install, holds firmly and just seems like an all-around genius idea! I loved it so much that I was truly curious why anyone would give it a lower rating.Having read through far too many reviews, almost every single negative review says that the adhesive didn’t hold on their walls or ripped the paint off of their walls. I have to classify this as user error since it states very clearly in the listing that these clips are intended to stick to metal, would, glass ot tile and NOT to be used as an adhesive mount on drywall, painted walls, wallpaper, or cement. I added a screenshot of those instructions from the listing.The only other complaint I saw was that the clips do not hold up the large one to two inch wooden curtain rods. Again it states plainly in the listing that it will hold a rod one to two cms in diameter. And for that purpose I think it’s an extraordinary product.I used mine to hang a curtain rod on a fiberglass exterior door. I had originally thought I could use a magnetic Cafe rod holder, and that’s how I learned the door was not metal! This was the perfect solution!

Exactly what I hoped for!
Happy to say I would buy again! The adhesive is pretty strong! Used this item to hang kitchen curtains and itâs doing a great job. It also came with some screws and the ones for drywall. I will say I took one off to move and it took off some of the wall which then made the adhesive not so strong (duh) but other then that a great product.Be careful when attaching it can cause some damage due to it being strong!

Easier than hooks but..
These were a phenomenal idea. They make it easier than trying to nail in the hooks and having to line everything up correctly. With these I just peel the plastic in the back and stick it up there. I wanted my curtains high so I placed one on each end and the rest lined up in the middle. The curtain rod a few of the middle hooks and everything fell down in the middle of the night the second day. The end pieces held strong. Put them back up and again they fell down this time by the end of the same day pulling the paint off the wall along with it. I put them back up and hammered two nails into each hook and then hung them and now all is well.I will still buy these and just hammer them in because my issue isn’t with the nails I don’t like having to deal with the complexities of the hooks that come with the curtain rods and these make it easier to line everything up.

Eh, good but not so good.
I bought these instead of drilling the brackets into the wall that came with my curtain rod. I was going to drill the brackets in, even borrowed an electric drill. Only problem I had was that I’m super short (5’0) and nothing to stand on so I couldn’t drill them in myself. I’ve begged my best friend (whose 6’2) to come over and do it for me but it was excuse after excuse. I just moved into this house in June so I needed to get my curtains up asap. I ended up caving and bought these sticky no drill brackets since they were easy to put up and would only take about 5 minutes so my friend would come over and actually do it (I live alone with my 16 year old son whose only 5’5 so he couldn’t reach either). My best friend was all I had to help me get these curtains up! I did everything I was supposed to. Cleaned the area, let it dry, put the brackets up and wait 24 hours to put the curtain up. After about a week, one of the brackets fell off and peeled a chunk of paint off with it. Since then, I’ve hung my curtain 3 times because each time it stays up for awhile and then one side will eventually fall of. I’ve had to buy a 2nd pack because I ran through the first one having to replace the brackets that fell down. It does come with screws to drill into the wall if needed but what’s the point of “no drill” brackets if they send screws to drill in. Obviously the company knew that eventually you’d need to drill them in. Good concept but it needs work!

Oh my goodness!!! These adhesive hooks are the BEST thing I ever purchased!! I rarely leave reviews nor photos but bbaabbbbyyyyy! I need anyone on the fence to hear my testimony! My home has aluminum studs everywhere – barely any room to screw holes. After fighting with my neighbors power drill I said okay, letâs see what I can find magnetic / adhesive rods. Iâve been tryna hang curtains for 8 months with tension rods but I needed that finished polished look that full rods and panels give. You guys, these adhesive hooks gave my home an instant makeover! I hung door wreathes! And 6 sets of curtains yes six! I got creative and started hanging my long pothos plant leaves from the ceiling (see pics). WARNING! These are super duper sticky, some negative reviews mention removal is nearly impossible they will take the paint off the walls. This is true, while hanging the rod too aggressively one of the clips snapped! I had to get a knife and saw the thing off the wall! Thatâs also an indication of its strength so Iâm good. My only criticism is the narrowness and fragility of the open / shut plastic clasps. I hung heavy duty black out curtains with heavy decorative rods – be very gentle, if you have two people that best if not use both your hands to align the rod, take your each index finger and gently open both clasps and lay the rods inside at the same time. I tried clipping one rod at a time but once the rod is secure the leveling drops a inch or two creating difficulty to balance and insert the other side – I had decorative heavy ends with width creating slight more difficulty but trust me! These are the truth. Final transparent point – as stated I originally tried to hang with the power drill so I had two holes in the same place I needed to affix the suction adhesive. An eager, never read the instruction kind of gal, I plopped them over the holes and hoped for the best⦠I had a near fail with the kitchen window left side, I walked back to see my precious rod hanging by the skin of the adhesiveâs teeth! Whew! I jumped on the counter adjusted the rod by removing all the excess air bubbles – use a credit card to seal the adhesive down tight or a fingernail will do fine. Iâm beyond happy! I brought two sets and I used them up immediately!!!! Hope this helps yâall, I gotta go! Iâm literally bout to go order 10 packs!!!
