Compared to Brooks Running Shoe
Fantastic comparison to the Brooks Glycerin 20. The sole cushion is very comparable, however the Brooks had more padding around the whole shoe giving you a feel of more support. The Ryka shoe has a great look and better material than the Brooks shoes, in my opinion, more durable and should last longer. The look is more sleek as the Brooks’ platform sole flares out for stability. The Ryka shoes doesn’t flare out, but still seems to have great support and stability. I did return this shoe for medical reasons but once my foot heals up, I will be buying this shoe again. The fit was much better than Brooks as well. In the Brooks, my toes go just up to the material. With the Ryka, they are a perfect fit. They are lightweight and breath well. The only negative I have are the laces. They are cheap and thin. This doesn’t alter my rating in any way as they still do the job.

Stylish and comfortable
Love the look and fantastic arch support. They run true to size. I wore them for 30k steps a day in Europe.

Comfortable
I normally wear a size 6 1/2 in sneakers. Iâve tried new balance, floppy elephants shoes sketchers are usually my sneaker they fit me really good but these have a nice arch support. Theyâre comfortable. Theyâre nice and wide enough for my feet. I ordered two more pairs and different colors. I love them. They are great shoe

Decent for flat, wider feet but so-so on cushioning
I really liked these for their wide toe box, heel drop, and overall stability. I use my own custom inserts in place of the ones that came with the shoe for a little added arch support and also appreciate that itâs relatively lightweight in comparison to other walking shoes out there. On that note, I feel like it lacks cushioning most notably around the heel/ankle and leaves me feeling like Iâm not quite secured enough into the shoe. Sizing is definitely true to size, however if I tie the shoes tighter it helps a little with the âheel hugâ, but then my mid foot feels too compressed and aches – on the flip side, if I tie them too loose then I feel like my heel is on the verge of continually wanting to slip out. Part of this could also be due to my inserts giving less space for the heel to feel âcuppedâ and just needed to find a happy medium of proper lace tying like an athletic Goldilocks (or perhaps more cushioned socks that may offer that around the heel).Overall the shoes have more pros than cons at the moment and have provided decent comfort. I’m hoping the durability will hold over time as well but not sure if I would purchase another pair of these as a day to day/walking shoe.

Comfort for the feet and knees!
These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I’ve owned. I never want to take them off as I meant to use them just for walking and I don’t want to ruin them. I’m having knee replacement surgery soon and wanted shoes that would give good support for my knees but my feet as well. I did so much research on this and bought these. They are light weight, and attractive too. So many of these shoes for knee issues were ugly with a capital U that I would be embarrassed to wear them. These are classy and the sizes are true. I’m buying another pair.

Great for comfort, but they don’t last!
I have a wide foot and walk from 2=4 miles a day. I have tried multiple athletic brands and then saw this one advertised in a magazine for women. They fit wonderfully, are incredibly comfortable from day 1 and have the support and padding that I need for walking. I bought 4 pairs of the Devotion+3 over a 2 yr period. None of the shoes lasted over 6 mos before the support was gone, heel and bottom were worn or crumbling or holes started forming in the toe box. I stuck with them because it is such a pain. The last time, I switched to this model (Devotion X Walking Shoe) hoping for a better outcome. It’s been 4 mos and the heel is worn through and the support is nearly gone. As much as I like these shoes, I may have to look for another brand. 🙁 Maybe this is normal for athletic sneakers now. But if so – they don’t make ’em like they used to!

Good for high arches
Iâd never heard of this brand before but they were true to their prose of supporting arch support, which is really hard to find. They are comfortable, not overpriced and I found them suitable as a running shoe too. I am usually an 8 or 8.5 and the 8.5 was too big (likely bc of high arches Iâd lean to your smallest comfortable).

Comfort for sore feet
Excellent shoes! Comfortable. Perfect for my high arches and sore feet. Love the wide toe box. Lovely mesh for cooler feet. Very good purchase.

My prior Ryka Devotion 2âs were my all time favorite walking shoe but all too soon my big toe created a hole at the end of the shoe. The other annoying issue was the heel was so flabby that the cushioning kept getting pushed out of place. Since then I have tried afew other brands but none to my satisfaction, so in the donation box they went.I decided to give Ryka another chance and Iâm very glad I did. These Devotion Xâs resolve both the prior issues while still retaining the comfort Iâd grown to love. The heel and toe are very adequately reinforced. What Iâve come to notice about Ryka is, rather than scrunching my toes together in the shoe, the toe box has adequate room. Therefore my feet donât get uncomfortable or sore wearing them for hours on end, whether it be walking or sitting. Highly recommended, especially for people like me with wider feet.
