Really nice socks, though I worry about the pearls falling off; I wash them in a lingerie bag to help protect them. I am not into Lolita style but I do enjoy relatively youthful looks. I wanted some thinner socks, more delicate socks for the warmer seasons that would go well with summer dresses and yet be wearable with regular shoes– I don’t really like those “no show” tiny socks that fall off easily and make it look like you aren’t wearing socks but also prevent your base feet from touching the shoe (but I did still want socks). There also are some shoe styles kind of more suited to those sorts of “no show” socks that more delicate socks like these paired well with that my heavier cotton socks don’t go as well with.I worried I would feel a bit awkward since these socks look so childlike but they are so dainty and cute I don’t feel that way as long as my outfit feels delicate and lightweight as well. And I don’t mind looking a bit outside the norm – my style is a bit quirky. The socks are comfy and soft. I would encourage people to give them a try even if they worry about the childish look of them as long as youthful looks aren’t a total turn off — they aren’t all flashy and if your look is pulled together and you wear the right shoes with them they will just look delicate and feminine and the eye won’t rest on them as something odd. They also have that kind of 50s vintage Bobby socks look which can be appealing if you like vintage vibes.

These are super soft and comfy! they are good quality and didn’t have any smell they came a week earlier than expected.
