Excellent for my situation/Maybe not for everyone
These open-toe slippers are fine, for what I require for my feet. I have no swelling, no diabetic condition, and no need for bandaging. Choice of footwear for persons with these conditions requires careful thought, and maybe some trying on of a few types and sizes of slippers. My feet and nails are free of fungus, and I prefer to maintain this condition. I don’t wear street shoes on my floors and carpets and I don’t walk around in my living space barefoot or even just in socks. I chose these slippers for the open-toe design, because I knew that light and air would be good for keeping my nails free of fungus, mold, etc, etc. With these slippers, I can keep my feet off the floor, without keeping my feet in the dark, damp space preferred by fungus and mold. For what I want, these slippers are fine. They are comfortable.Whether this design would work for a bandaged foot probably could not be decided without trying them on the person’s foot. I’m not sure if it would be possible to provide an exact fit, just by choosing a size from the online chart. Everything would depend on the thickness of the bandaging; and the need for protection of circulation. If the straps would ever be tightened, to hold this slipper on, circulation might be slowed down, and that’s not going to be good for a person with diabetes. I have the straps fairly loose, and these slippers are fitting just right. But that’s me. Every case is different. So my recommendation is: Try these. If these don’t work, try some slippers with a different design. Care of feet is absolutely essential for a person’s health. These are definitely worth a trial.

    Working great
These are working great for my step-mom. She’s not a diabetic but her feet and toes were hurting her, making it hard for her to walk. She was getting infections in her toes. Wearing these sandals the passed few months have helped with all these issues. They’ve reduced the swelling in her feet and improved her circulations. And they have washed great.

Size is bigger on those shoes
They look comfortable and the colors are pretty, but the size is a little bit bigger, i.e. a number 10 on regular shoes, would fit probably better with a 9 on those shoes.

    Footbed losses cushion quickly
The shoe is made very well. It is a little too long even though I used the chart to get the right size. My issue is the “memory foam” footbed. I have had these shoes for 2 days and the cushioning has gone flat in places. I have very sensitive feet and I had high hopes that these would be an answer so I paid more than I normally pay. Before you say it is because of my weight … I only weigh 140 lbs.

    Fit and comfort
The adjustable straps on top make it very convenient order these for my mother who had hip surgery recently and she can put them on with very little help. We bought a size 9, even though she wears 8 1/2 and her big toe I want it is just about to reach the edge. The big toe on the other foot is about a half an inch short of the edge of the front of the shoe this is so you can accurately figure out what size to get if your relative or you wear an 8 1/2 and you get an eight it might be a tad small because these being tightened up, I would tend to go the size up from the half size

    Comfort
These shoes are so comfortable to wear around the house. Sole thick so can wear outside also. I wear 7-7 1/2 size. I bought size 7 and perfect fit. Bought 3 pair for my mother for swollen feet. She absolutely loves them and refuses to wear any other shoe. Highly recommended.

    A Mother’s Choice
These shoes were purchased for my mother. She really loved them! The quality is great. Very useful for her since her feet were always swollen. The best was the ease of use for her to be able to slide her feet into them!

    Decent little house shoes
My mamaw fell this last week and so I’m on the hunt for the perfect light weight house shoes for her. These were a good contestant but weren’t just right for her. (she’s extremely picky about everything so this won’t be easy to do. I’m not blaming the shoes for her not being able to keep them) she needs a slipper that has a rubber bottom for grip, slight heel for comfort, opened toes due to arthritis, closed in back to keep them secure, adjustable across the top due to swelling, and the ability to use with her orthotics, so a removable foot bed is ideal for her. Now, these are not advertised as a removable foot bed. When we got them I checked, and the insoles are not sewn in. In fact they were barely tacked in well with glue. I could take the insoles off if I really wanted to. I’m not sure if that was just the pair I got or if it is supposed to be that way. Her Normal shoes are a 9m and reviews say that they run small. Her original shoes say the heel to toe is 10″ and for 10″ on these, would be an 8. I got 8s and her orthotics would have stuck out maybe 1/8″ -1/4″. But for a fall risk that’s way to much. 9s for her would have been to big in the heel. (keep in mind she has small to no heel and her swelling is across the top of her foot) so a 9 would have been to loose on her.The way there are made are pretty decent for house shoes or someone that needs to go to the Dr or even to walk a bit in. The Velcro is stronger than I expected. We got the light cream ones and they were just as the picture. I think she would have kept them if the orthotics would have fit in them but if that’s not a problem for you then I don’t see much fault with these.

These worked great for my wheel chair bound sister with swollen feet. The velcro makes it easy for staff to put on and very adjustable They have great grip so she can foot propel her wheel chair. They are water resistant so spills can easily be wiped and are very breathable with the open toe.

I really love these shoes , I haven’t been able to get ladies shoes that fit for so long, always depending on men’s runners as my feet swell and I take a large size . Now I can wear these shoes that not only look nice they are also comfortable .

Purchased for a family member for swollen feet as they are adjustable. She said they are really comfortable to wear. Make sure you get the right size and use the measurement chart for your foot length Also they do not come in 1/2 sizes.
