good brand, good price, multi box makes nice quick addition to pantry staples
Good brand, cooks up well. Makes a great addition to pantry. Can’t ever have too much pasta. 8 boxes of spaghetti packed into 1 larger branded box. Even though I find most spaghetti to be the same, I do notice that Barilla is a better brand. Though I really dont care when it comes down to it. I bought this because it was a good price, even relative to prices in store. Since food shortage is a thing, I figured I would impulse buy this just in case. Low price (and good brand) was a determining factor, otherwise I dont think I have ever purchased basic spaghetti online before.

Quality Pasta
This pasta is high-quality #5 spaghetti. It would definitely cost more in the grocery store. The barilla packaging is matte blue, and the spaghetti is at its peak of freshness. I saw some reviews that mentioned they found weevils in their pasta so I was afraid to buy at first as this is a wholesale purchase and it would be a waste to get 8 boxes of infested pasta. However, I took a chance and there was not one bug in sight. Also a few years ago, I did some research on wheat bugs/weevils, and I found that they are actually harmless. If you have one box in your order which houses a few bugs, rest assured that the pasta is still edible. Just rinse it off and cook immediately. If more than one box has bugs and you are not planning to cook all the pasta at once, then that is an issue, as the bugs will more than likely lay eggs and completely infest all of your pasta making it unusable in the foreseeable future.

Great for 1 year old, pasta with broccoli recipe inside
My one year old loves pasta, and this is the perfect size for him to grab with his little fingers. Itâs also a great size to avoid chocking, so he can feed himself with minimal help. 10 minutes and thatâs it. A recipe he likes:1 cup pasta1 tablespoon butter1/4 cup Parmesan cheese1/2 cup broccoliCook the pasta and the broccoli together for 10 minutes. Drain. Add cheese and Parmesan, and mix together until the broccoli starts to crumble and the butter and the cheese melts. Chill it a bit and serve to your little pasta eater toddler that will end up eating some pieces of broccoli âhiddenâ in the pasta. Voila.

What can I say? Barilla rules. I have tried so many brands of pasta, nothing beats Barilla. Number 5 is just nice, not too thin which becomes easily soft and soggy. I received the item with expiry in 2022, which is great.
