Good soup, easy to make and versatile.
Great taste as always. I love the Extra Noodle and wish it came in the Ring Noodle variety. I’ve become a master of cooking with my Electric Kettle and this soup works perfect. I boil the water and add it to the soup in my cup that has a tight lid. I close the lid and let the soup “steep” for about 10 minutes or so – this works for me, I like my noodles “al dente” so, to each their own – open the lid and voila! I also add a generous spoonful of sour cream and you have a kind of “Cream of Chicken Soup” – you may have to use your imagination. But anyway, it hearty the soup up and adds calcium and some more protein.

Since my childhood Lipton Chicken Noodle soup has been a family favorite. My mom would make this to help keep us hydrated during the bouts with the flu, and to warm up after spending time outside during the best winter snows. When I saw it offered here on Amazon I called my mom and said, “Do you remember that amazing noodle soup you would make for us when I was a kid that came in the packet? Was that Lipton because I think I remember the box.” She laughed and said, “Of course it was Lipton because they always made the best tea and noodle soup!” I ordered a full 12 pack of this right after I was sure that was the kind she would make for me because nothing is as comforting as a nice bowl of noodle soup especially if your feeling under the weather!I have read reviews that this soup has changed but I am happy to report it is the same exact soup my mom made for me when I was a four year old watching her pour it from the same packet all those years ago!PROS:1. This is the same soup that Lipton is known and loved for, whatever the problem was everyone has talked about in reviews is no more. Lipton listened and we know have our favorite childhood favorite back!2. This soup has 24 not 12 servings as each box contains two servings.3. This soup is so much healthier than canned soups.4. This soup tastes amazing.5. This soup can be enjoyed as is or is a great starter soup to add eggs to (or as we like to call them in my family yeggs to be fun) and makes a beautiful yegg drop soup with amazing flavor.6. This soup is very hydrating as you make each packet with 4 cups of water.7. I love this quick shipping time and packaging.CONS:1. After being unable to find this soup in local markets, I luckily found it here on Amazon. It arrived well packaged and quickly.This was always a favorite since childhood, along with the now discontinued Giggle Noodle Soup. My family would have this for dinner along with cheesesteak’s or burgers on a Saturday evening when I was growing up. I’ll share the contents with other family members who still search for this soup like myself.This soup is a nice light soup. It’s warming for those cold winter nights. Its great for when you’re not feeling well or have a cold and need to eat something light. It’s a warm hug inside a bowl.This pairs well with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or on crackers. And, as I said above, cheesesteak’s and burgers.You can adjust the amount of noodles/broth by just adding less water. I usually let it sit for an additional 5-10min after cooking to allow the noodles to fully bloom. You can even add an egg, whisked, and slowly drizzled into hot soup at the very end of cooking for a version of egg drop soup. This will provide some protein too.Have it plain or spice/doll it up a bit. There are so many different ways to enjoy this soup. Create your own family memories and warm hugs to last a lifetime. I hope your family enjoys it as much as ours did and continues too.

No extra trips to the store, scouring grocery shelves looking for out of stock soup.My SIL & I both love Lipton’s extra noodle soup so there’s plenty on hand.Extra Noodle is one of the few soups that has that old fashioned TRUE chicken flavor. I had a craving for a brand name chicken noodle soup that I hadn’t had for years and it has changed drastically. Zero chicken flavor.Lipton tastes exactly as it did when I was a child (I’m 65). Love that it’s so easy to prepare. Not thick, not chunky, rather more like homemade chicken soup. You can add extra chicken, veggies, but it’s delicious as is. Filling, but light enough not to make you feel stuffed. Goes great with anything.Always fresh, excellent quality in a box.100% recommend.

Very good when you want something light.
The soup is quick and easy to use. Directions call for 3 cups of water. The broth is too thin for my taste (kind of watery). So decreased the water to 2 1/4 cups and it is just right for me. It is going into fall and having a nice warm soup for a lunch will be great. This is the 2nd time purchasing this.
