nice pet camera

Poor design of the camera holder
Do yourself a favor and find a better way to secure the camera in the plastic holder that attaches to the pet collar. Im so upset with myself. It seemed like it didn’t snap in very tight and I considered adding a zip tie or heavy duty twist tie to better secure the camera to the holder. We tested it around the house yesterday and seemed ok so I didn’t bother. Today, I let my dog out wearing it and 10 minutes later he came in wearing the collar and plastic holder but the camera was gone. So, for me, a complete waste of $$. For what it’s worth, the video image from our test was clear, very jumpy, but clear

Bummed Out
I did a lot of research and ended on this highly recommended camera. I was disappointed it didnât come w SD card, but that wasnât a big dealâ¦. I had to wait for it to arrive.Felt like the camera fitting into the âcollar pieceâ was not as tight as I wanted, put the protective cover on and it appeared to fit a little tighter. Cat wanders offâ¦. 3 hours later he returns w no camera, but collar still attached. I have walked the fields looking for the camera⦠but my steps have been in vain. Wished I could have at least seen a single clipâ¦.. I considered zip-tieing the camera to the bracket, but didnât⦠sure wished I would have.

Cat lost it in a day
I got a chance to see some footage to test out the camera, so the camera quality looked all right. However if youâre getting this for your cat to see where they go during the day, donât bother. All the items they give to have it secured to their collar fall and pop off pretty easily. This camera didnât last one day and my cat came back just wearing the collar. I was kind of expecting it with how flimsy the attachments were, but hoping that wouldnât be the case. Itâs also fairly bulky, and I have a large/tall cat. I wrote my number in sharpie on the camera so my only hope now is someone finds it, but thatâs unlikely.
