I used to use cheap iron for a long time. This one is working fantastic. It is quickly getting hot and easy to adjust temperature. I hopefully this productâs life is long.

So Far, So Good
I’ve used this soldering station on several projects so far, and it has performed well. Although it does seem to have a heat cycle and isn’t always up to temperature when I need to solder something. But so far, it seems like all soldering stations do the same thing. Other than that, it’s done very well.

Working Good. Excellent For Starting Out
I bought this a few months ago, but just started using this recently. Everything functions well and it seems to work as it should. I really like the digital temp display and the button to switch between C / F. The whole look / feel does NOT seem cheap. I feel like this is a good buy for someone starting out. I like that it came with everything needed. So far I have spent 10 hours using this and it is working great. Very happy with it so far.Improvement – I would have given this item 5 stars but did not for these reasons.1- the instructions need more detail on temperatures for the wire it comes with at the minimum. It was confusing figuring out what temperature the iron needed to be. I would also add information on basic soldering technique if marketing this as a beginner soldering iron.Second – I would recommend changing the wire it comes with to something thinner such as .32 gauge wire. The 1MM wire it comes with is much to thick and required too much heat and was hard to learn with because it did not want to melt on contact without the iron almost being maxed out on temperature. I had to go buy .32 solder wire and once I used that I was able to turn the heat down about halfway and it was much much easier.Other than those two things I am very happy with the purchase and recommend it to other beginners. Thank you.

I purchased this soldering iron after looking at several similar items first. What ultimately led me to purchase this one was the 3rd listing photo, where they show a ghost image of the built-in transformer. When it arrived, I looked through the top corner grill, and was very happy to see that the photo seems accurate and there is indeed a very large transformer inside.The plastic housing of the base unit is quality, heavy-duty plastic. I was very surprised to find the housing this nice on a budget electronic device. I love having the digital read-out of the temperature, and the button to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius is really helpful for people who, like me, were failed by the US not teaching or using the far-superior Metric system. The plug for the iron is very solid, and stays secure by tightening a nut that holds the two together snugly.The stand for the iron is made from some painted metal, likely folded steel. It’s not super thin, and it’s engineered well so that it’s very sturdy. The rubber feet on the bottom could be a little stickier I think, but they do their job of keeping the stand from moving too easily when you go to stick the iron back in. The stand also has a ring of a rubbery-plastic material, that insulates against heat transfer to the stand and holds the iron in securely, preventing it from falling out at the slightest bump.The iron itself is quite comfortable to hold, light-weight, and heats up quickly. In addition, probably my favorite feature is that the iron has hollow, swappable tips. This means that the ceramic heating element slides all the way in, and provides heat quickly and efficiently to the very tip, without the handle getting hot. In fact, this heat isolation is so good, it could be easy to forget you’re holding an 800°F piece of metal, and accidentally burn yourself (no, I’m not speaking from experience, what are you talking about?).Overall, I definitely recommend this product and I continue to enjoy its reliability.

My old soldering iron went bad. I decided to treat myself with a soldering station. I like the many tip sizes and adjustable temperature controls. It heats up quickly and ready to use in under a minute. My old one would take up to 3 minutes to heat up. Very happy with the purchase.

The plug fitted is a US plug.Not a simple case of changing the plug as the input AC voltage is 110v and not 230v as in the UK.Why the seller is sending these out to the UK is beyond me.Completely useless here.

I canât believe I spent so much money on this product thinking it would be fine. I donât recommend this, donât buy it. It looks premium but performance wise terrible. It stopped working after my return window closed so i canât even get a refund.
