Glad I purchased this!
I purchased this protection for my oldest son’s Oculus Quest. Big investment, and yes, it was extra money. However, when my youngest son accidentally damaged it, we filed a claim. It was simple and quick, and within a day or so, we had everything we needed to ship the damaged one and money in the account toward a new one. Then we purchased a replacement Oculus, so you better believe we also bought coverage. Then…. the package was lost before arriving. Within a couple hours of reporting the lost package, we were issued a refund, but I wasn’t sure what to do with the protection purchased. A quick question later, and within a couple hours, we had a refund for the protection as well. We’ve ordered another Oculus as well as another Asurion plan. In short, you never know if you’ll need it, but we were thankful to have it. Easy to file and quick with answers.

I am so glad I got the coverage!
Really easy to use. Provide the purchase information and they sent a return mailing label. As soon as the label was scanned a credit was posted to use on Amazon for the full purchase price.

Asurion SUCKS!!
It took over 2 months for Asurion to get me my refund. They took their sweet time and I had to call over 10 times throughout the 2 months for them to do anything. Don’t expect your protection plan to protect anything.

My radio lives again !!! Asurion helped me with my dilemma
I purchased a shortwave radio and had it for 6 months and the antenna selector for the Hi-Z and 50 Ohm connectors would not function anymore. The rotary encoder for the volume control was not working all the time too. The radio was well taken care of and not abused, it failed on its own not due to some manufacturing issues. I called Asurion with this issue with the radio and they went through the questions of what happened. They were very helpful and in about 20 minutes I was assured that they would help me. A few hours later I was given an Amazon Gift card for the purchase amount of the radio and it was sent to my email. This was tremendously helpful and I was able to replace my defective radio with this Gift Card Credit. I am happy that I can listen to my radio again and all aspects of it work perfectly.
