This unit is much better than I anticipated. Very well packaged in a manner that waste no space and is compact. The multitude if components are each individually wrapped neatly and upon 1st test the unit performed extremely well. Assembly was so simple I never looked at any instructions. Has the features that are most needed built in and well placed. Hats off to the manufacturing company for a product that is efficient, heats up instantly, compact, performs very well and all at a price that is very affordable! If I could have given the item 6 stars I would have..Now the test of time begins as well as the customer service if needed test. I will update if there are problems as they may arise later. But as of today (1st day) I am very happy with the purchase. No updates = No issues.. Great product! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality high performance yet affordable soldering station.

The materials and construction of this kit punch above its cost. The station is well laid out, comes with a ton of useful accessories, and the action solder gets up to temp fast, and stays there. I’m extremely happy with this.

Compact Sized and Highly Effective
Had everything that i needed to make a few electronic repairs, this things is compact and easy to use. It heats up very rapidly and cool down moderately quickly. it can also store and save up to three Pre Set temps that can be easily and quickly switch back in forth between. cost was a wasn’t terrible either.

I donât do a lot of electronics soldering, but I do a little. Mostly, I do electrical soldering.This station is great for both!The adjustable tip temperature with a digital display is excellent and various included tips work well for whatever project youâre working on. Tip temperature is very responsive to adjustment and the cold start heating time takes only a few seconds.The flexible gator clips and magnifier make detail work much easier. The solder spool holder is a nice touch, too. It keeps the spools out of the way, while allowing easy access.The iron holder is strong enough and shaped so that the iron fits in securely without touching the metal coil.The ironâs cord is a good length, however I wish the power cord was longer, but itâs apparently made for bench top applications, so for that, itâs a good length.Overall, I hove no complaints and I really like this setup!I highly recommend this soldering station! ð

Way under rated
This is a quality soldering station. Most of the attachments are gimmicky but the station itself works great. Heats up in seconds good for RoHS solder at 755+FI think most issues folks have with it are down to user error. It is tricky to get the tip in correctly. Itâs a tight fit (a good thing) but you must use cation and be sure to insert it all the way or youâll have heating issues. Great product.

Very Good Kit
For the price, this was very good. This kit saved me a lot of time and money by repairing some fried tracing on my furnace board.Obvious positives include the layout of the kit in general. Less of obvious is the quality. The solder gun felt sturdy, the helping hands and magnifier were functional and not just for show, and the temperature information was very convenient.The only thing I would have wanted is a couple more helping hands. There was another model up from this one that I would have spent a few more bucks on, but I needed the faster delivery.

Really nice set for the price
I used this soldering station to make my first little DIY clock kit and it works quite well. The helping hands are flexible and rubber coated so they don’t penetrate cable tubing. The magnifying glass is super handy for working on small PCBs, especially with the built-in LED, although I wish the neck was a bit longer since it doesn’t have the same reach as the helping hands do. The tip and solder holders are very basic, but that means they also work with other brands painlessly, so I’m happy with them.My only issue with this set is that they only include lead-free solder and no flux. If you are going to get this kit, PLEASE BUY SOME FLUX OR ROSIN CORE SOLDER. The lead-free solder won’t bind well without flux and will just become a mess. You’ll think you just suck at soldering or that the iron is bad, but you really just needed some flux.Overall, the kit is great quality for the money and good enough to make quality solder joints with precision. Just don’t forget to buy some good flux and solder to go with it.

Heats up SUPER fast
It went from room temperature to 450F in a matter of seconds which was a pleasant surprise. Swapping out the tip head was easy. And I really liked how sturdy the base is because my biggest reason for getting a $50 over a $15 soldering iron is the flimsy base being a safety hazard on the cheaper ones.My biggest gripe is there’s no way to turn off the solder heat but keep the unit on so you can’t use the magnify glass light without turning on the iron. The minimum temp you can set is ~400 F (200 C). The closest thing you can do is leave it on sleep mode which keeps the nozzle at a min 194F, still way above room temperature. Because of this you also can’t read when the nozzle is room temperature and safe to touch for swapping tips. You just have to leave it alone for a while and hope it’s no longer hot. As soon as you turn on the unit it will heat up and it heats up FAST as previously mentioned.Despite this, I do really like this unit and it has a lot of features that make soldering a little easier.
