Easy to use and accurate
This is a great device, easy to use and extremely accurate when compared to metal tape measure. Makes one person measuring a joy. The laser red dot assures you are measuring what you wish and the level keeps you âonlineâ. Great for estimating paint, tile, room size for hvac. Inexpensive but quality build.

This tool is almost too advanced
It works ok. It’s cumbersome.I just use it for linear measurements in feet and inches. Each time you start it up, it defaults to meters, so you have to reset it.It has all type of options for taking multiple measurements to computer area, which I would never need.Plus, it’s very complicated to do that with the limited interface of 5 buttons.Its nice to be able to save measurements .Because it has so many options and many functions. I find it difficult to exit or restart a measurement. It’s frustrating to operate until you get used to the constant need to restart it.The timeout is also very frustrating and is not adjustable.Also as soon as you point it in a random direction where the beam extends more than 196′ it errors out and you have to reset it.We have another brand at work which is older and doesn’t have so many options and only measures to 60′. But I actually prefer it over this one because it’s much less complicated and doesn’t time out in 30 seconds or error out like this one.I would say this unit is almost too smart for its own good. I probably would Not buy it again. But I’ll use it for now.If I get another one,I’ll look for something less complicated because I know it exists.

I needed that…..
A friend emailed, “I’ll bring a 75-foot tape measure.” Another offered 100 foot. A local company had offered the senior citizens center I belong to a building…. an old school building…. for us to move our activities into. We needed to measure each of the 12 rooms to plan where to put the things we do. But measure TWELVE rooms. Three old men? I ordered the Laser Measurer, here in two days. Easy to understand the operation, easy to operate. Large readable display (which old men need). It was perfect for our job. It turned a three-day job into a half day. It turned hassle into joy.

Need a 100-150-ft rangefinder? Here’s a cheap one.
It does what it says, mostly, and intuitive enough for simple distance measurements.I have never achieved the advertised 196ft range – even while pointing the rangefinder at the white wall.155ft is the max I could get.

Easy to use, affordable, and accurate
I am a homeowner and don’t want to spent a ton of money on a tool like this, but I also want every tool I own to work well. I can say for the money, this thing exceeds my expectations. I compared the measurements and it aligned perfectly with my tape measure. You can select it to calculate the measurement from the front or back of the device, which is helpful to know and have the ability. There is a laser that helps you align the device, as well as a backlight to see the screen in low light. You can do way more than just measure. You can take multiple measurements, do addition and subtraction with the readings, calculate angles, volume, area, you name it. This little device can do it. At first I thought the units of measurements were only feet in decimals. The instructions didn’t say anything about changing units, so I figured it couldn’t. However, all you have to do is long press the U button and it will scroll through decimal feet, decimal inches, fractional feet, fractional inches, and meters. So this thing definitely exceeds my expectations!
