There were a lot of inconsistencies throughout, which sister helped pick out the new clothes changed, which teammate was in the locker room etc. Also lots of grammar mistakes and missing gaps but overall the plot was pretty good.

This book is amazing. At first I didnât like Lake but the more the book went on the more I started to like his character. Tessa and Lake grew up a lot throughout the book. This book was equally sweet and funny at the same time. I loved it.

Oh man, this book had me STRESSED. I absolutely HATED Lake for the first part of the book. It was honestly rough to get through. I am glad I kept reading though. I did really end up enjoying it. I do feel like there were a lot of holes in the book that couldâve been talked about and places in the book where it kind of time jumped when I feel like it shouldnât have. All in all it is a good book that I would read again. I LOVE both of them so much!!!!

I didnât like it as much as the first book. This one was just a bit too drawn out in the beginning and then rushed a lot in the end.

Lake and Tessa went through so much in their past. They both have some traumatic experiences that make them not want to be together. Well, sometimes life just had a way of telling you something different.Lake decides he’s going to ruin Tessa’s smexy vacation plans, and she’s not happy. He then realizes he may have messed up when he finds out she’s booked at a very questionable hotel in his hometown. Everything changes in that instant. He knows he has to save her from that place. This sets off a whole series of events, making them realize they are made for each other only to have a wrench thrown in the mix. The ups and downs between these two and the fire on the pages are the next level. I love their back and forth. I laughed and cried reading this one.

I love an enemies to lovers!! This was so good! I loved how that he knew he loved her yet couldnât stop fear and the past from getting in the way there turmoil of emotions was running high through out! Simply brilliant!

So⦠the book felt like parts were missing ⦠and like where was the ending??? Brent told Tessa donât join up with lake blah blah blah. Not ONCE did we hear about his opinion? Second, the ending? Was that even an ending? It was like Iâm happy ok BYE.

Enjoyed this but felt a bit unbalanced. Seems like the first 75% could have been done in 50% then the last 25% could have been stretched rather than feeling a bit rushed near the end. Story was great and I enjoyed Lake and Tessas relationship progression.
