It is not a fast charger, but gets the job done. So far so good. I give it a thumbs up for the price. Follow the.instructions in the email that will follow your purchase. Charge via the USB for the 1st 2-3 usages before travel and solar usage. I did try mine in the sun to see if the solar panel was working then charged it via USB.

Looks great, works great but capacity isn’t 38k.
So for the price it looks great, charges your phone pretty quickly as it should with usb 2.0, and the solar panel is a great thing to have if you find yourself outside often. I truly don’t believe the capacity is over 35k tho. I charged the battery overnight using my best, brand new quality charger. Every light was Lit and I decided to leave it in my backpack completely void of light. With my 20k non solar charger I would expect 2 and a half full charges from empty. I can say with certainty that I could only charger my smart phone 1 and a half times before it was 100% dead. I don’t know if there are proper or legal standards for what a mAh should be, kind of like the lack of standards issue that BTUs in air conditioners had. The functionality is fine and the wright is about the same as my phone. If you are living off it camping then you better keep it in the sun. Is it possible it is just my unit? Yes, it is quite possible. I would happily correct and improve my rating if we accomplish something here.

So far Very Disappointed
** Update. I returned it. Got it to a full charge only once. And it only charged my phone 60% and that took hours. Looks good. Flash light works. Took it out of the box and read the instructions. It had 1 solid green light and 2 solid blue lights, with 2 flashing blue lights. I tried to let it solar charge but it never changed, so I plugged it in over night. Still No change. So I thought I would drain it and try again. It got my phone to 84% and was totally DEAD! So far this is not performing as was advertised, it is not working the way it should. I will try to charge it again and if it doesn’t improve I am returning it.

This power bank is smaller than I thought it would be. That is great for someone thatâs trying to have light weight in their backpack. So far so good . it works great. Happy with purchase.

Solar charging is weak
Used as a ânormalâ power bank, works fine. Fully charged from wall outlet got around 2-1/2 to 3 full charges on iPhone 12. When attempting to recharge it from the sun (direct sun, no clouds, no shadows, 7-8 hrs/day, 3 days) it struggled to get one blue light (1 of 4) after day 1. By end of day 2, still had only 1 light. By end day 2 had 2 blue lights; all after some 22-24 hrs direct sun.Summary, good for a power bank but donât count on any significant solar re-charge
